Good work shirt
Saw some mixed reviews but wasnât too worried about it. Color of shirt and fit 2xl was great. He says itâs comfortable. Will definitely buy more

No exaggerating the “Tall” sizes
Great durability, lengthy sleeves/body, and fit close to the body. I usually wear an 18″ neck and 36-37 sleeve in dress shirts. I bought the LT and ordered additional colors. They are a little stiff in the collar and that was rough on my neck, but after a few washes they soften up a little bit.

SMALLER THAN TRUE SIZE
I bought a 3XLT shirt. While the length was sufficient, it was not as long as most tall shirts I own. Also, it would not fit around my chest to button. I wear 3XLT shirts mostly because my gut sticks out more than my chest does, but also for the length. I’ve never had an issue with a 3XLT shirt fitting me around the chest. This was a 2XLT at best, and they did not have a 4XLT in the color I needed. I processed the return, which they took care of right away.Aside from it not fitting, it’s a great work shirt, good quality. Fabric looks and feels nice while being lightweight and breathable. If you’re looking to buy, go up at least one size higher than what you normally wear, especially if you’re over 5’9″.

My new clothing philosophy …
I love casual button down shirts. I think they look more mature than t-shirts or polo shirts. I like these work button down shirts because they look good enough, aren’t expensive, seem to resist staining, come in a lot of colors and so they just fit what I like to wear. Dressier shirts are great … but you don’t really want to sweat in them and thus risk staining them. These Red Kap shirts are not really nice enough for white-collar environments, but are pretty good for everything else. (and looks just fine under a sweater vest! : )

Top Quality!
Red Kap is the brand used by uniform rental companies because it’s rugged and stands up to abuse. It lasts a long time even after hundreds of washings. It wears well and is comfortable. It’s permanent press and ready to wear right out of the dryer. No ironing is needed. I worked for the local goverment and wore uniforms made by Red Kap for over 20 years. Now that I’m retired I buy Red Kap work clothes because they are top quality, comfortable, look sharp and competitively priced compared to other brands. Red Kap clothes are true to size and there is no shrinkage. I recommend anything with the Red Kap name.

Botton holes are BIG
Shirt itself is good quality material and fit. But!! The bottom holes are both poorly sewn and oversize for the buttons. Will not stay buttoned up.

Great Value
I ordered three work shirts as a âTry before you buyâ through Amazon to see what I liked best: this Red Kap âindustrialâ $16 shirt, a more expensive rip stop $23 Red Kap shirt, and a long sleeve Dickeys $33 shirt. My favorite, by far, is the ripstop Red Kap for $23. The Dickeys was my least favorite, and I returned it. The only reason I didnât return the $16 Red Kap industrial shirt, is that itâs a solid shirt for just 16 bucks, but if I only bought one, it would be the ripstop Red Kap for $23. The $16 Red Kap is well made and looks great. Itâs cut for tucking it in, but looks fine untucked as well, though it has a rounded tail. The Dickeys and ripstop are cut for wearing untucked. The ripstop material of the $23 Red Kap looks pretty durable, and just looks really good. In fact, that shirt looks twice as nice as the Dickeys, which is kind of disappointing at that price compared to the other two. The Dickeys was also the only one that arrived with a small stain in its new packaging. All three are sized similarly. I normally wear a large tshirt, which fits comfortably, but I can also wear a medium tshirt, barely. These work shirts, in medium, are perfect. Bottom line, this is a good shirt, but I recommend the slightly more expensive ripstop version.

Good quality
The small size fitted perfectly for me. Strong seams and I can tell it’ll last even using it on the harshest conditions.
