7 reviews for Backcountry Portable Solar Panels, 110W or 60W – IP65 Water Resistant Solar Charger with 3 USB Ports for Phones and DC Out for Power Stations
Spend the extra money and get 200w Full Arizona sun and I’ve never seen it produce more than 25w when connected to a jackery explorer 300, with an average of MAYBE 15w. I thought that one of the panels was broken and maybe responsible for half the output, and tested this by blocking each separately. Blocking either side sent the input down to 2, so I know both panels are “working”. Disappointed to say the least. Spend the extra money for a 200w panel.
1h 110-watt Solar charger is well engineered, built and the output wattage is as advertised! WORKED PERFECT!We just got back from celebrating my sonâs 40th Birthday our family of 19 to Upper Soda Springs in a backcountry campground near Mammoth Lakes for 5 days! Our only source of power was one GoSportsâ package. Besides powering up our 48â of outdoor string lights every night, we also plugged-in pumps to top of the air mattresses every night so everyone could have a good nightâs sleep (kiddos just canât resist jumping on them!). Although we had a few smoky days because of fires in the Sierraâs, the 110-watt GoSportsâ solar-charger kept our 1,000-watt GoSportsâ inverter charged. No one amongst us showed any signs of âRange Anxietyâ like those we saw with standard battery lanterns that turned in early and woke up on flat air mattresses!
30 watts total power in the midday, desert sun????!! the panel only produced 30 watts of power after sitting in the hot desert sun all day. It was insufficient to charge my Jackery battery. I want a refund or a replacement. When I looked up what could be the problem, it could be a bad cell.
Omg OMG. Had a family camping trip and the two of us 65-70 bought a new air mattress and the first night we deflated to ground level. Luckily one member of our family brought this amazing solar panel and battery charger. The first night we raised to what I thought was Empire State Building and that every night of our trip. We used the battery pack for lighting, cooking , phone etc. I didnât have to crawl on my knees to get up and go out in middle of the night. It was truly amazing and we ordered the two items when we returned home. A must have for any outdoor indoor activities
Works Great! Took this bad boy for a spin this past weekend and it worked perfectly. Itâs really thin which makes itâs easy to pack and we were able to get plenty of our devices charged with it. Easy to use and came in really handy when we donât have any other way of getting power. Highly recommend.
Nice setup. Haven’t really taken it out yet so I can’t comment on the reliability but I bought the battery pack solar panel combo and the battery pack is holding a charge (no battery drain) and the solar panel has some awesome features and is super easy to use.
Love it Have only used once on a camping trip…but so far and very happy with purchase. It has all the most common plugs for things you charge. I was able to charge 2 phones and a LED worklight all at the same time very quickly. Nice to have for a wide variety of reasons and situations.
