Wrangler Mens Riggs Workwear Advanced Comfort Five…
Customers say
Customers like the quality, value, weight and appearance of the jeans. For example, they mention that they’re a great pair of work jeans, made of heavier weight denim and that they look good. They also like the durability, comfort, and pockets. That said, opinions are mixed on the fit.

Sturdy with just a bit of stretch
These jeans are comfortable tough and easy to move in. They fit well for a guy like me who may be a bit overnourished.

Best work jeans, best fit, best price. Last awhile. Great bargain.
I’m a bargain hunter, used to be whenever I saw the bargain jeans on sale I’d load up. Yay, $10 for jeans! Not so great when they only last a month. My husband is hard on his jeans, and frequently we’d throw out jeans that had ripped out in the crotch when he squatted. If it wasn’t the crotch, it was the rear pocket. Then I saw the commercial for the Duluth jeans, then shortly after there was a great sale. The jeans were still really expensive, but I bought a couple pairs in my husband’s size. He hated them, too small and fit strangely. So I returned them for a larger size, and my husband still hates them. Now they’re too baggy, and on top of that the material is thick. That may be great in some areas, but when he is working outside in 105 degree heat, not so great. So, the cheap pants are junk, and the Duluth pants too expensive and my husband doesn’t like them. I went searching on the internet for jeans with a gusset crotch and found Riggs Workwear. The price was good, so I bought. My husband loves them, they fit well, they look well, and they last forever. A year and a half later, he still has the first pair I bought him. Believe me, that is significant, he is hard on his jeans. The only gripe he has is that he doesn’t like the leather patch for tape measures, he doesn’t use it, and it screams “work jeans.” Even when new, he doesn’t want to wear them out or to church. Love these jeans, in fact I’m on Amazon to buy more. Darn those grease and paint stains!

Impressed so far
I have a perennial problem – one particular belt loop always inevitably rips out on every pair of jeans I buy. So I keep searching for a kind where I won’t have this problem. After searching extensively these jeans came up at the top of my list of new candidates. I couldn’t find them locally so order them from Amazon. Sizing is always a crap shoot when I can’t try them on. I order 40×30 based on availability and what I have found to work in other brands. (I would order 40×29 or maybe even 40×28 if available, but they never are.)This fit very well except that they are a bit too long, requiring me to roll them up. But I always have to do that. And they are comfortable right from the start. They appear sturdy, though not remarkably more than others I have had. The “leather” patch on the right front pocket is “interesting” and unexpected, but that is not where I have wear problems. It renders them slightly less suitable for “dress” wear. The belt loops are wider than on other jeans I have had. Maybe that will help. But the stitching doesn’t seem any more robust, so I will have to wait and see. (That is why I didn’t give 5 stars.) In my experience the stitching for the loops always pulls through the pants. What I’m really hoping to find is loops with rivets, or else reinforcing on the inside where the loops are stitched.

Great pants for dirty jobs
Bought these for my son who works construction. They hold up nice and wash well. I would recommend going up a size or two though, they run small and are not stretchy.

Best work pants ever worn
Seriously these are great. I don’t know why the diamond gusset isn’t the norm for work pants, but these are the first pants that haven’t torn in me when lifting 60lbs from a grouching position.Definitely buying more since these are both affordable, durable and just comfortable enough.

Super strong jeans
These ran a little bit big on me, but really sturdy, thick, and triple stitched.

Great price, but this pair of jeans are too small
Dear fellow buyers,Through this review I want to express my disappointment for a very bad fabric selection to manufacture in this particular product. The Wrangler Men’s Rugged Wear Regular-Fit Stretch Jean. ASIN: B008PDF2CK Item model number: 39055PS. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B008PDF7KW/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1Many other buyers have stated this are not stretch at all, and they are not stretch at all. Anyhow; as you can see at the pictures, I bought the right size and I’m wearing jeans in a relaxed and comfortable way.My review is specifically about the poor quality of the fabric selected to manufacture this jeans. I have tried 4 pair of jeans of the same model in the last two months, in all 4 pair of jeans the fabric have ripped off at the stiches in the fly area next to the zipper (front rise) and the stiches dividing the back rise.I have found all the stiches are solid, zipper perfectly attached; actually manufacturing process is all good quality as any other Wrangler jeans. But origin of the rip off failures are at the thin fabric composed of a mixture of 75% Cotton, 25% Polyester. It actually looks like the polyester fibers are cutting the cotton fibers apart during normal wear and stress on the fabric, this is believe after seen that the Polyester fibers are the last ones in ripping off before break point at the damaged areas.Attached you will find pictures related to the 4 pair of jeans and the fabric ripped off in the indicated zones of the jeans where problems are taking place. Before buying these jeans model, I have used the Wrangler’s classic relaxed fit (100% cotton), the wrangler Riggs Cotton (100% cotton) and the Wrangler Riggs Rip Stop jeans (100% cotton) and I have never had a single problem with this models, normally the fabric loses its color after a year of use and then I replace my jeans with new ones, but the fabric, stiches or zipper have remain all good all these years. Finally I would encourage anyone to not lose your time and money buying this particular model. Go for the 100% cotton models. I hope this helps you to select your next pair of Jeans. All the best.

18 months of daily wear spread across 2 pairs and they are only just starting to show signs of wearing out. Good sizing and comfortable to move around and work in.
