Great for the local outdoorsy person
This thing is super lightweight and foldable, so it doesnât take up much space in my backpack. Perfect for those of us who like to pack light but still want all the gadgets charged up.The 30W power is legitâmy phone, tablet, and even my mini camping fan all got juiced up without a hitch. I was a bit skeptical about the whole solar power thing, but this charger made me a believer. Plus, itâs got an IPX5 waterproof rating, so I didnât have to freak out when it started drizzling.Setting it up was so easy. Just unfold, angle towards the sun, and youâre good to go. I also love the built-in kickstand that lets me position it perfectly to catch the best rays.Honestly, if youâre into camping, hiking, or just spending time outdoors, this solar panel charger is a must-have. Itâs reliable, durable, and super easy to use. Iâm so glad I added this to my gear.

Reliable and compact
I bought this solar portable charger for a rave camp. Overall, it was a great experience using it and it was a great solution to my battery/power concern at the camp. Quality-wise, the product arrived in perfect condition. It weighs much less than I expected (I thought solar panels were going to be heavy), so I was able to fold it and carry it in my backpack. Performance-wise, the charger worked perfectly for me when I was camping. It started charging immediately once I put the solar panels up into the sunlight. I used it to charge my phone and my speaker, both at a sufficient rate all in all amazing product, and I particularly recommend it to campers like myself who often have battery charging concerns at campsites.

It takes awhile but does charge my portable battery
I donât know much about solar panels but I do know this one does in fact charge my little battery I use as a back up for my phones. It takes awhile but it does charge. This is the outcome I expected and I got it for an emergency in case of a power outage so I could charge my phone. So it will do what I need it to.

Review of Solar Panel Charger
I went to Joshua Tree a couple weeks ago and my friend recommended I buy a solar panel charger. So I gave this a shot and I was very satisfied with my purchase. The design is compact yet is able to efficiently charge multiple devices. I highly recommend for anyone who is traveling to a sunny location. This is both good for the environment and incredibly convenient. Can confidently say this is worth the money!

Not waterproof and should not be used in moist environments.
The online documentation for the KTenergy Solar Panel Charger states that it is IPX5 waterproof, but according to the guide included with the charger it clearly states, âThis charger is not waterproof. Avoid exposure to water, rain, and moist environment.â IPX5 generally indicates that the product is safe to use in a low water pressure situation, which I take to mean it should be safe to use in moist environments. The charger does have a pocket that looks as if the inside might stay dry under a light drizzle when the solar panel array is folded up. When the is open for charging, however, I donât believe the pocket will be very moisture proof. Of course, there wouldnât be much point in unfolding the solar panel during a drizzle, let alone a rainstorm, but there have been many times when Iâve left my campsite when the sun is shining, only to get caught in a sporadic sprinkle while I was about. Normally, if I didnât have to worry about damaging my solar charger, this is the kind of situation where I would leave the charger open and charging my power bank and other rechargeable devices. So that hampers its usefulness as a dependable day charger. Itâs weight is also a bit concerning, especially given that I would also have to carry a power bank in order to charge my devices at night or even when the sun is blocked by rain or a shady tree. The charger looks and feels very well made and I believe it will last a long time. It folds into a neat little packet and its pocket can be used to store a phone or power bank while they are being charged. I would not, however, trust it to keep my phone or power bank totally save, especially when unfurled and attached to my backpack while Iâm walking. In short, this is a well-made product, that will need most of my charging needs, depending on the availability of sunlight, but I would want more clarification on how waterproof this product is before I will trust it to meet my charging needs on an extended backpacking trip.

So compact and useful
Such a cool device! It is a little larger in size but itâs very flat so itâs actually easy to fold it up and squeeze it into small areas of your bag or car. Itâs also pretty light and comes with hooks so hanging it off your bag while youâre hiking to charge it up is convenient. No more worrying about running out of power when youâre in a pinch!

solar powered portable charger
This solar powered portable battery is exactly what i needed for camping. I used this solar powered portable on a camping trip and this kept my phone and kindle charged the entire time. It was seamless and easy, all i had to do is lay it outside and go about my day, and when i needed to charge I just plugged it in. Itâs also nice how it has a pocket where i can put my cables in. This also came in handy when I was driving with friends and there was no charger plug for the car, so i was able to just lay this out on the dash of the car and charge my phone. It is larger than the usual battery pack, but honestly highly recommend since I donât have to even worry about charging it since itâs all solar.
