Not as sticky as I would like…
Most places it is OK, but it is a pain on curved surfaces. It keeps peeling away, which is VERY appealing to 6 month old kittens…

More durable than I expected!
I am happy to report that this works exactly as described, I was looking to cover up some of my baseboards and trim so that my cats can’t ruin it, this is the easiest and best solution i’ve tried this far. The carpet is thick enough that their claws can’t get underneath it, the adhesive is strong enough for my cats to pull down on it (on a daily basis) without lifting it. I have a lot of cats and i’m surprised with what little damage has occurred with a full week of my cats scratching at it. It’s more durable than I expected! I have some extra of the roll left and i’m thinking it will be perfect to re carpet my cat tower with! I’ll definitely be getting more of this when it needs replacing.

Cats
This product does not stay on. Cats tore it down right away. It was easy to put on the couch.

Works great
I stuck these to tile in my bay window for the cats to have a large area just for them to claw. I also used a leftover strip to wrap around the bottom post of the cat tree. It stuck well in both places. It was quick and easy to do. The sticky backing protector comes off fairly easily. It did tear off in a few places where I had to work at it little to get it started again, but if you go slowly it doesn’t seem to be as easily torn. It’s easy to cut if needed. You can follow the ribbed pattern on the rug as guide lines to make a straight cut or there are guidelines on the back that you can follow if you find that more helpful. I did not think the guide on the back was very useful with their markings so I followed the ribbed lines. It laid out flat and smooth. Stuck securely to the surfaces. I was especially impressed that it worked so good attaching it to very beat up sisal rope around the base post on the cat tree. The cats were attracted to it almost immediately and had a hard time waiting for me to move out of the way so they could commence with knitting and clawing on it. It was still there the next morning, so that was good. It’s been over a week now and still seems stuck on good. I’m happy with it and so are the cats.

Sticks to Lots of Things
I can’t believe I’ve never thought of using this before. It was super easy to cut and then stick to my wall. My cats love it and it gives them something else to climb and sharpen their claws on besides the furniture. It cuts cleanly and looks good.I’m sure there’s a lot of uses that you could do with it besides cat stuff too!I recommend it for cat lovers. Very essential.

Not the best.
Does not adhere to furniture.

Big roll of material
This Cat Scratching Mat is a pretty big roll of material (118 by 15.8 inches). It’s easy to install, and use. It can be cut with ordinary scissors, and has guide/grid lines on the back of it to help with trimming it (cutting it to size). It’s really useful, versatile, and convenient, as it can be used for a variety of reasons – such as fixing an existing scratch post/tree, building your own cat scratch post/tree, protecting furniture, etc. The adhesive backing sticks well, and stays in place, on clean, smooth, surfaces, but on surfaces like carpet, not so much. It starts sticking up, and peeling off within about an hour. I tried setting heavy things on top of it for a few days, to see if it’d adhere better that way, but it still isn’t staying put. I’ve tried a couple of these cat scratch mat rolls, and when feeling it, this one is quite a bit rougher than the others. I suppose cats like that more (?), but I can’t be sure, because my kitty hasn’t shown any interest in it at all. I’ll give her more time, but she still seems to want to scratch anything else more than this. If she starts showing any interest in it, I’ll update this review.

Works pretty good, but corners of adhesive starting to give way
Thank god for this. Our cats were getting terrible about using the couch as a scratching post. It sticks fairly solid, but over time corners have started to give in. It looks good, it was easy to install and all in all wouldnt have an issue recommending it.
