Light but effective – keeps you warm without the bulk
I spent a little more than I normally would just to see if the extra expense would be worth it…it was. Jacket is well made, light and warmer than I thought it would be. Fit is generous – will fit over other layers but is not baggy. Has inner liner that can be worn on its own or in combination with outer shell – well thought out design is easy to separate and put together. Zippers are bomb proof – I accidentally pulled apart front zipper and it easily unzipped and zipped back together with no damage – nice.Pockets are good, found a hidden compartment in between inner and outer shell – very stealth. Materials feel durable, I expect this jacket to serve me for many years – I would highly recommend.The only thing I would have liked better is if hood was pack-able but that’s on me I didn’t verify if hood was removable or could be rolled up. Hood is well engineered and has a cool adjustment feature to keep it from drooping in front of your eyes

My son has this very coat, and told me that I would love it if I had one. So, I bought it hoping for the best, and wow was he right. It is amazing to say the least. In fact I bought my wife one also, with equal satisfaction. Thanks Columbia for your attention to details, and great quality.

Nice 2 piece jacket
Really like this jacket. It’s fleeced inside can be worn separately or attached for more warmth. Waterproof outer lining is very nice.

The Jacket is Great, Finding the correct size by shopping online – not so great
The product is perfectly fine. No problems. Everything is good. I just hate how difficult it is to buy clothing online. This jacket is for my son and of course being the second jacket we ordered, it does not fit as well.I will return this jacket (donate the other) for no other reason than the size is not correct for my needs. I will purchase a Columbia jacket for my son, I will buy it from a brick and mortar retail store to ensure correct sizing at time of purchase.

Lo compre de regalo para mi esposo talla M, le queda muy bien, trae un sueter adentro que se puede quitar de la chaqueta, eso si hace que se vea mas abultado porque como son dos chaquetas la persona se ve un poco gordito y cuando quitas el sueter de adentro la chaqueta queda un poco suelta pero como a mi esposo le gusta asi, que le quede grande esta bien. El color es muy bonito, resiste a la lluvia y protege del frio si empieza hacer calor se la tiene que quitar de una vez porque calienta bastante por dentro, es para climas bien frios.

This jacket appears to be what we wanted. A bit large but that should be ok. He hasn’t worn it outside as yet because our weather remains warm. I like the inner lining that comes out easily. Would recommend the quality. I will review again after he wears it outside.

Bought this jacket for an overseas hike and it serves it purpose well. It is windproof and water resistant, and keep you dry in moderate rain. No chance to test it in heavy downpour though.The design is sleek and looks good. The only complaint is the velcro cuff which can be made longer for better tightening at the wrist.
