Good swim shorts
I received a medium navy pair of shorts. I’m about 5’5″ and approximately 155 pounds. They fit well and have pockets! I actually prefer swim shorts because I have stretch marks everywhere, so I’m a little self confident about them. These give me the coverage I want without being too bulky to swim in.

Love these as bathing suit shorts. The 4â inseam is perfect for my height. Iâm 5â5â with longer legs as opposed to torso. Going to buy more!

Cute but seem a bit small
I have size large swim shorts from this brand but in a different style. I really like this brand’s clothes. The larges too big (I can wear them but if I try to jog, I’m afraid they’ll fall down) so I tried a medium in this style – they’re snug. I’m not sure if it’s just the style or if I didn’t pay attention to the measurements. I’ll be wearing them in my hot tub or as shorts but I always untuck in shirts. Because of that, I’m not too bothered but I’m an 8 and find these small on my midsection. They’re stretchy and not uncomfortable but don’t look great all stretched out. I do need to lose about 5 lbs so this may motivate me lol
So, I recommend these shorts but pay more attention to the size measurements than I did, I guess!

Baleaf Swim Shorts: Comfortable, Versetile, and not Too High Waisted
I really like these swim shorts. I was a bit worried about them being “high waisted” since I have a very short waist, but they come up to just below my belly button. For reference, I’m a chunky petite at 5’2″, measuring 38, 33, 41, and ordered an XL. It’s easy for things to accentuate my bum, but these shorts are pretty forgiving– I’m happy with how these look from all angles.
PROS: 1. the all important size chart worked for me. I was between sizes, so I chose the XL that wouldn’t have any measurements that were too small for me (plus that’s my usual size in bottoms).
2. Super comfortable. They’ve got a lot of stretch so comfy sitting, and they don’t ride up when I walk.
3. Nice deep pockets.
4. They’re shorts *and* swim shorts, so have an inner lining.
5. UPF 50.
CONS: I haven’t really identified any. Will update if I do.
The seams all look good to me as well. I’ve ordered a number of Baleaf sun protection items, and have been pleased with the workmanship. Happy with this order.

Not just for swimming
These shorts, with their built in panty are perfect for days at the beach, walking around town, or going to the gym. The fabric allows them to dry quickly. They fit wider than a legging, longer than a running short – more like a board short, but a stretchier, more comfortable fabric. My wife pairs them with a rash guard and is good for a day of anything.

Great fit and fabric
I got these on an M. It fits as expected and I was pleases with the fabric quality. The only observation is that the pockets do flare out slightly while wearing them (see picture) but I am very pleased it actually has pockets at all- typically swimwear with pockets is difficult to find. The adjustable straps are very functional and help for the shorts to fit and adapt well. They are very comfortable to wear and the inner layer fits like a glove. Recommended
