Well Designed Dog Training Collar, Excellent Instructions, Great Features
We have been training our dog to not pull on the leash with treats. Once the treats run out or he gets tired of them – you guessed it, he pulls on the leash. A trainer told us that treats are not enough. So I shopped for a shock collar. This one replaced another brand that stopped working. It is very effective. Amazingly, the instruction booklet is excellent. It described how the device works as well as how to use the device to train. The remote is very easy to use. The collar is straightforward to adjust, then snaps on just like a regular dog collar. Once it is set, you just snap it on from then on. I especially like the lock switch on the remote that stops it from transmitting if I accidentally hit one of the buttons when it is in my pocket. My previous shock collar did not have a lock switch, so the dog was accidentally shocked or vibrated two or three times, which is confusing for the dog and frustrating for me as the trainer. Our dog is progressing very well. We still use treats, but the collar seals the deal! One other thing I like about this trainer is that it transmits a long way, so I can let the dog roam further from me (off the leash) when we are in isolated areas and be confident he will come when called. I don’t think you can go wrong with this device.

Very Useful
Works great, many different settings and levels, and keeps charge for a long time. I’ve had it and used it for months only having to charge a few times. Easy to use and set up. Does great for my dogs training. Don’t have to shock, the sound or buzz suffices for us.

Works like a charm, straight out of the box
I am not one to write reviews, but this thing is awesome.
We adopted a rescue in December of last year and he’s a 100 lb. Roamer.
We put this on him straight out of the box. It comes fully charged and ready to go. 5 minutes later and he went into the road and I beeped this thing once and he came right back to me.
It has several tones, many vibration patterns and a shock function.
The remote is lockable when not using to prevent accidental activating it.
The battery life on the remote is amazing. I’ve only charged it once since we’ve had it. The collar has a flashing status light and a battery level display which stays charged for weeks if you don’t activate it often.
We live close to alot of farms and no matter where he is, I press the beep button and he comes running. I’ve had to use the vibrate function twice when his nose was getting him linto some situations but it doesn’t hurt them.
I just purchased another one for my neice and her mischievous pit bull since we’ve had such success with it.
Very solid buy. Well, we’ll worth the money.

Not bad for the price
Will have to wait and see how it holds up to time and i havemt tested battery life much yet. So far it has functioned well for the simple tasks I have asked of it. Have not tested it longer distances, but have not had service interruptions. I like that the sounds and vibration can be modified for intensity. The main things I don’t like are the lack if a belt clip on the back and the adjustment dial is fairly cheap. Well, it’s all kinda cheaply made, but at $37…it’s cheap. Happy with it so far. Will see how the collar survives the water.

Game Changer for my 6 Mo old Golden Doodle
lost both my “terminal” dogs unexpectedly from illness at 8 & 9 years last Fall. What is a 77 year old who has had dogs her entire life to do?
I found an 8 week old relative of my late dog, bit the bullet, and bought a puppy. I mean how hard can it be to train a puppy – lots of experience, right?
I tell myself that doodles are very intelligent dogs, and this little girl discovered quickly that I couldn’t chase her. You get it, right? Puppies are rascals!!
After she turned 6 months and weighed 45 pounds, I needed to solve this problem so I researched and thought I’d reluctantly try a “shock” collar.
A dog lover, I watched a lot of You Tube to discover a gentle way to use an electric collar. I put this collar on her, set the shock to 01 – the lowest setting and took her out into my field on a 50′ rope armed with loads of dried liver.
There are three buttons for reinforcements on this collar – a tone, an adjustable level of vibration, and a shock. I started with the beep when I called her name. She immediately turned around, ran to me, and was treated. The next day, we went out without the rope, but with lots of treats. She came immediately every time.
Using the vibration button for distracting situations has been very effective – like a tap on her shoulder. I vibrate her at a low level if she spies one of my chickens or wants to chase the cat. Just a low vibration means business to her.
She has yet to be “shocked”; it has not been necessary, but I may use it when it comes to cars – not there yet.
One thing I’ve found is pairing the collar with the transmitter each time you turn it on. You can use the transmitter with two collars with a separate channel for each.
Using this collar has really helped me enjoy time with my dog. I was feeling so discouaged and overwhelmed; this collar made the difference! She is much better behaved.
All in all, the color is a great value – easy to use, sturdy, well made, good battery life, easily charged receiver and transmitter together. I highly recommend the versatility of this collar. I would suggest looking at videos to learn how to use any electric collar in the best possible way.
