Quick and easy once you get the hang of the time
This does not make a lot of popcorn. Think of it as single serving. It doesn’t even fill one of the small paper popcorn bags, but that’s fine. It pops quickly to make mulitple batches.
You’ll probably need two sets of times for this, the time for when it’s just popcorn and the time for when there is butter in the top section. The butter drops as the popcorn pops, which makes it distribure evenly, which is wonderful, but which pulls away some of the heat. In my microwave, it’s 2:30 just popcorn and 2:45 for popcorn with butter, to give you an idea. It’s not a huge difference, but if I don’t give those extra fifteen seconds, a lot of the kernals don’t pop.
That said, it’s really consistent, and once you have your two times, you can just reuse them, no issue. Even if you do two batches back to back, the time is the same.
It is critical that the turntable in the microwave actually be turning while you’re using this, or the best case is the popcorn just won’t pop. The instructions say it can damage that microwave. I lucked out, but ended up with a kettle of hot, unpopped kernals, save for two or three.
My only complaint about this is it makes buttered popcorn so quickly, so easily, and so well I’m probably eating more of it than I should.

A whole new way of Popping popcorn
Revolutionary popcorn experience! The Micro-Pop Microwave Popcorn Popper has transformed my movie nights into gourmet adventures. Not only is it a breeze to use, wash it in the dishwasher. The best part? The freedom to create my own flavored popcorn concoctions! Whether it’s a savory garlic parmesan or a sweet cinnamon sugar, this popper consistently delivers perfectly popped kernels, every single time. Plus, adding butter before popping ensures each batch is infused with rich, buttery goodness. Say goodbye to bland microwave popcorn and hello to a whole new world of flavor!

Pops all the kernels
Product is perfect size for one hearty serving. Consistently pops all the kernels (assuming you don’t overload it). Haven’t had a single burnt popped kernel yet. The lid has holes for butter to melt through during popping; however, the butter melts completely before the popping starts, then pools at the bottom to become a dark brown coating on the glass (hence 4 stars rather than 5). Better to melt the butter separately and add it to the popcorn later.
Plus, it’s just darn cute.

Makes really good popcorn!
I had a larger one of these when I had a larger microwave but when I downsized to a smaller microwave, I was very sad that my other glass popcorn popper would not fit. Very happy when I found this. I add a tad bit more than it calls for in terms of kernels and I can get nearly a full pot. Or, you could make two small ones. Dump it quickly as it does tend to start to burn fairly easily in the pot. Take it out when you’re about 3 to 4 seconds between pops with fresh popcorn.

Delightful
I am surprised by how much I like this.
I bought this popcorn tool as a mother’s day gift for my mom (and I bought a second for my family). It was an add-on gift and it’s a star. The popcorn is light and fluffy. It has an air popped texture. Adding butter to the lid is so easy and everything comes out perfectly seasoned — while using less oil and butter.
Clean-up is so easy. A quick rinse and straight into the dishwasher.
The larger option easily makes enough for 3 9yo girls + a mom.
I had no expectations when making this purchase and it’s bringing me joy.

Handy snack maker, hard to figure out how to make work
I really like the size and materials of this handy microwave popcorn maker. The 1.5 quart size is great. I was really looking forward to using this and having a quick, healthful snack in a few minutes.
However, I am having a hard time figuring out the right microwaving times. The sheet it came with offers very vague info saying that all microwaves are different. The first time, I just put in plain popcorn using the convenient measuring cap that sits on top. When I buy pre-made microwave popcorn, the time for double the amount of popcorn is 2:15 minutes for perfectly popped bag. I set the timer for 3:30 minutes, thinking I’d probably only need about 2-2:15 minutes max since the amount was smaller. When it reached 3:30 minutes, there was still a lot of unpopped corn. The corn I used was brand new and completely fresh.
The second time, I put about a teaspoon of cold butter on the little top, where it has holes that let the butter melt onto the popcorn as it’s being popped, and used the measuring top first to put in the exact same amount of popcorn as I used the first time. After less than 2 minutes of popping, the microwave just stopped in mid-cycle with half or more of the kernels unpopped. I started up the microwave again, but it just stopped again. I figured the remaining unpopped kernels were now coated with butter, so it wouldn’t go for some reason (nothing wrong with the microwave). Maybe the glass container got too hot so it wouldn’t continue?
Anyway, it’s really frustrating not being able to figure out or have any guidance from the manufacturer on what should be a fairly simple process. Advice, anyone?

A very simple way to pop corn!
This is so easy to use. Lost the directions. so I accessed them on the web. Just measure the corn in the lid up to the line, pour in pot, add butter or what I used, plant-based spread in the top and micro for about 3 minutes. Very few kernels in the bottom of the bowl, I like that. And the popped corn is not chewy, it is fresh and easy to chew unlike bagged micro corn. So easy peasy!!

Works very well. Very few un-popped kernals (Orville Redenbacker) Much tastier and more economical than snack bags. Recommended.
