Clear instructions, charming illustrations, comprehensive workout
I have learned so much from Ed Deboo’s free online videos that I felt obligated to buy his book, and I’m so glad I did! I just purchased three additional copies for friends who may finally be tempted to exercise based on the clear and simple guidance presented in this book. Every day I set my timer for 20 minutes and make my way through as many of the exercises as I can. Then the next day I pick up where I left off the day before. I appreciate the blank pages at the end of the book, because I am adding whatever additional exercises I want to include there. The book has a sweet and peaceful vibe that makes it easy to use. Thanks to the clarity and structure provided, I am getting stronger every day. My appreciation to you, Ed Deboo, for creating this excellent resource!

An excellent resource for everyone
I’ve seen Ed’s videos on YouTube, and found his exercises to be short and helpful. I liked the look of his book and preordered it. I received it this week and am thrilled with it! I’m transitioning out of Physical Therapy for an injury I had last summer, and the exercises in the book are familiar. It has routines that I’ll be able to use forever, so I can keep getting stronger! I’ve recommended this to several friends, and they have all picked it up too.I love the design of the book. It’s written so that each exercise starts at a beginner level, and tells how to advance as we get stronger. Each exercise is written over 2 pages, so you don’t have to flip pages. And the routines in the back have the page of each exercise so that you can easily refer to the instructions. I just found that the kindle version is on sale, so I bought that too! It will be great for traveling!

Exactly what I wanted
First let me say I preordered this book after watching some of Mr Deboo’s videos on YouTube and waited a good two months before it came out. Just received today, and I was not disappointed. Love the illustrations which are large and colorful. No problem seeing these at all and they are on every page. First part of book details the benefits of strength training, second part are the exercises and third part are short routines for different purposes. What I especially like about the third part is that there is a smaller picture of each exercise in brilliant color to jog your memory about what the exercise is. The exercises themselves are pretty basic and can be done with homemade props if you actually do not have handweights. They are also simple to do and let me tell you while a younger person might scoff at wall pushups, when you are old and stiff those easier options are so welcome. The exercises in this book might not turn you into a champion weight lifter or pump you up like a body builder, but they are doable for most of us oldies and that is exactly what I wanted.

Essential Resource for Seniors
I LOVE the way each exercise is illustrated and simply explained before combinations of them are put together for a variety of 10-minute workouts. The targeted area being strengthened are listed before each exercise routine as well. Knowing why and how youâre doing the workout helps with motivation! You wonât need a gym, special equipment or hours of time to stay strong with this book next to you on your exercise mat. Who doesnât have 10 minutes at home to devote to their personal health and well-being as they age? This âownerâs manualâ for the human body is well worth the investment.

Excellent set of exercises – needs better indexing
I really like the exercises and the routines in this book. They are well described and illustrated. What would truly be helpful would be the addition of a good table of contents that would point to routines organized by purpose. The routines are there but I have to leaf through the book to find the ones for my particular purpose. Otherwise a great exercise guide.

Short and simple
Very well written by a PT. Simple drawings of the exercises and instructions on facing page, easy to follow. The 10 minute sets are in the back of the book. I recommend this one.

Donât buy Kindle edition.
Good content but digital edition poorly formatted – image of next exercise appears on instruction page of previous exercise. Not just occasionally – every one.

Perfect for someone in “our age bracket.”
Well organized and illustrated manual that provides exercises of all kinds. No need for equipment or a gym membership. This is a great resource.

Bought this book on kindle to find out if it was suitable for myself. It is very easy to understand and would highly recommend it for anyone who wants to get fitter. Ideal for anyone wanting to improve their general health and fitness. So good I am going to check out the book copy to purchase.
