Reliable night light
the lights still work after a month of hot sunny and heavy rain day. The battery hold enough charge to keep light on from dusk to dawn. I chose the lower wattage due to many false advertises. The light level is adequate for the security camera and to unlock the gate.

Very bright, good radar, but IR remotes?
Change to RF remotes and I’d be a lot more happy with that part. Everything else is just fine however. The included mounting hardware covers just about any use case, even masonry. With washers and quality deck screws it’s a snap to put them up on timber too without drilling huge pilots. Motion detection is very good and rejects all but the biggest background signals (like a large tree branch bobbing next to it, that can turn it on if it’s very windy, I need to trim my tree). The beam is very bright with good color definition, 30% standby at night is more than adequate to see during approach and they reliably come on as soon as you’re in range. Mine have to be mounted at a steep angle to the sun unfortunately but they still get more than enough power (in Texas anyway). Standby power is dim enough we don’t attract every bug for a mile, but they do notice it nearby – not bad. Installation was very straightforward, they are light and have a low profile for wind. Today we have extreme severe weather, if something happens I’ll update. I’m don’t know about the 800W equivalency claims but they are plenty bright for a pitch black wooded area in the country without a doubt. The beam is nice and broad with even falloff. I had hoped to put a remote control in the truck and one inside the structure to control them but they are IR so you have to go walk out there to use them since walls and auto windshields block IR :/ That’s really the only complaint I have so far though. Everything else is excellent and exceeds my expectations. No batteries were included for the remotes, each require 2 AAA.
