Can’t keep her hands off I just purchased this for my 3yr old. She loves it. It’s durable with the case. Picture quality is great for the price. I haven’t found the included filters, as described. I added a phone app and now she’s also making calls. We love this phone. I give a 4.5 star, it would be a 5 but I can’t find these filters that were advertised.
Worth your money! Itâs is a really small âiPhoneâ but with android apps, my 5 year old likes to use it to watch her YouTube videos on the car rides. We just hook it up to our hotspot!
Very basic phone I won’t lie, I actually got this as a back up phone until I could afford something better. I don’t have any kids who could use this. You are in fact able to use this like a regular adult phone, but the iwawa app came preinstalled on the phone and cannot be uninstalled. The iwawa app is the app you open if you want your child to use the phone. This phone is on Android 9 and is unable to be upgraded, and it has only very basic features which is totally fine with me. It runs most applications pretty smoothly, although the screen is absolutely TINY. If you have big fingers then typing on this small of a screen is a bit of a nightmare, but it can be done. Overall it’s a decent quality basic phone for adults as well as children. I’d recommend it!
It works This is a very interesting product. The phone is so small but is actually functional. It charges fast and will work with GSM carriers in the US. Itâs pretty slow but you can play games and watch videos on it without too much trouble. As long as your expectation is very low, this would be a great option for a childâs first phone.
Such a cute phone for kid! I bought this cute little phone for my four year old nephew, he loves it so much and almost every day he play with it taking photos! Itâs so easy to use! Amazing!
A nice pocketable phone for your kids This is a great Android-powered phone that functions well and offers only essential features, but most importantly, it works reliably. Your kids would definitely enjoy using it, but I haven’t been able to find any additional cases for it since the one that comes with it isn’t very liked by my kidos.
True to picture! 5 stars!! Â This product is definitely the best kids’ phone that I’ve ever tried. It literally looks like a miniature iPhone with android software and even has the google play store where you can download apps also came preloaded with apps as well as kids’ safe mode. Also, this phone is unlocked and can work with a sim card in it and came with a sim card ejector tool as well as a legit looking phone box and screen protector and two phone cases and all its features and functions are just the same as any cell phone it is crazy and funny. It is also lightweight and has a good storage capacity and sound quality is great as well as the camera quality. The quality overall is great as well as the value for the money and the shiny blue color is very nice also another cool thing is it even came with a charging cable. This is a 5-star outstanding product for sure and I highly recommend it.
Capable OS for kids  This is A miniature unlocked Android phone (on a custom Android v9 OS) with 32 GB of storageIt comes inside a soft silicone pink unicorn case with both the front and back covered by factory film (you can leave it on) but, but also includes a generic clear plastic case and a separate screen protector if you want to âde-unicornâ the device. Two âHomeâ apps / skins – one is more like the generic Android and the other one is âiWawa,â a homescreen OS designed for pre-school age kids with a kiddie UI, heavy app restrictions, and flexible parental controls. This latter one is what is shown in all the product screenshots, although the parent should go through basic setup first which will be done in the ânormalâ Android Homescreen; after which you can set the iWawa OS as the default and for the most part lock your child into that mode.System Functionality:- You do NOT need a SIM card or a service plan to use this phone; it will work on WiFi (however, many of the app features and any online videos will need a steady connection to work). It will not work without EVER connecting it to WiFi, most features demand that you establish an initial connection to activate the app. If you get a service plan, they can also use SMS and make phone calls.- The iWawa app comes preloaded with some basic pre-school games that are just a little educational and mostly designed to occupy your child with simple interactivity and fun noises. For example, the âSTEMâ app isnât really going to teach them anything, but might be a little less mindnumbing than watching someone else unbox toys on YouTube Kids. (On that note, there IS a video app that seems to be a custom skin for YouTube kids, so, they wonât be missing out on it. It functions alongside a built-in Android âChild modeâ that prevents them from straying far from approved content and usage.- Some of the sub-apps in iWawa take over a minute to load on their first time, so make sure your kid understands itâs not âbrokenâ – it just takes a little patience. Iâm not sure if or how long they last for offline use.- You (the parent, via parental controls menu) can turn on or off any app, whether it was preloaded or downloaded later from the App Store. You can also see screen time, etc. By default, SMS, phone, browser apps, and the YouTube-ish apps are turned on, but you can disable these. You can also create multiple kidsâ profiles with unique settings and screentime reports (the default is just one profile named âKidâ)- The generic Android side has a full Google Play Store (although some apps may not be compatible with this older version of Android); and the iWawa app has a Google Play Kids store, where all the apps appear to be free with no in-app purchases and vetted to be child-safe. You will need to sign in to a Google account for either you or your child to use the Play store.- Based on system settings, there is also support for the Huawei AppStore (China) and VK AppStore (Russia) which you may want to disable if you have no use for them and your country supports Google Play. Some popular 3rd party apps like WhatsApp and Twitter are pre-installed but there isnât really a lot of bloatware like on some phones.Cameras:- There is only one functional camera on the front, only one on the back. The other âlensesâ are dummy lenses for decoration.- The camera is *not bad* – similar to what youâd expect from a cheap Android (e.g., the prepaid âburner phonesâ you can buy at a convenience store).Sound:- Is OK. Just as good if not better than the cameras that come on popular made-for-toddlers digital devices like cameras or tablets with a proprietary non-Internet-connected OS.Wireless Connectivity:- I did not test SIM function as I do not intend to add a service line to this phone, and Iâm sure many other parents wonât. However, the WiFi works great.- The phone also supports Bluetooth but there is no NFC or other advanced communication features you might find on premium Android phones.Typing:- Yes, the screen is TINY and feels bizarre to anyone whoâs used a ânormalâ smartphone before. However, it is a true capacitive touchscreen and has surprising precision for its size. My large adult male hands were able to interact with the UI and type out passwords and URLs with the same accuracy as on my own full-size phone.Overall, if youâre ready for your kid to get an electronic device, this is a substantially better value than anything âpretendingâ to be a smartphone – it has many of the flexibilities of an Internet-connected Android device, which comes with pros (more apps, more things you can do, unlimited content) and cons (itâs possible theyâll be exposed to something that youâd never find on a non-connected, single-purpose device. With the large protective case and the built-in parental control settings, and a little bit of setup and supervision, this can (for better or worse) easily become a pre-K kidsâ favorite toy.
