Great for cat owners to protect furniture
I bought these because I got a new (very expensive) couch that I just could not allow my cats to destroy like they did my last one. This product is affordable and effective. They are easy to apply and blend seamlessly with my furniture. I have a corduroy, beige couch and it blends in and keeps it looking aesthetic. The material effectively deters my cats from scratching. It’s ok on flat surfaces but not on not totally flat areas.
I thought I was getting 12 sheets of the bigger sheets but the pack is really only 6 bigger ones and a bunch of thinner strips of them. They stuck ok to the smooth plastic shelf and leather I put them on but the cloth couch and the rattan furniture didn’t stick at all and needed the pins. The pins got pulled out by the kitten in a few days on the rattan furniture he liked to try to scratch and a week in the cloth couch. Bit worried about him eating them. He likes to pull it up and chew the plastic. Plastic held up great but keep an eye that they don’t pull off and swallow a pin. The areas it actually stuck so far is deterring him good. The pinned on one’s that are coming off easily became a toy. I didn’t have enough big sheets to fully cover so he got around it by trying to scratch the inch of exposed corner the sheet didn’t cover.

Best purchase ever
Full disclosure, I do not have a cat. However I do have a dog that enjoys marking his territory on my new couch. I saw the Anti Cat Scratch Furniture Protector and purchased it, hoping it would be a solution. Boy was it! It was easy to install and is almost invisible on my couch. The very best thing of all is that my sweet dog lost all interest after two attempts of marking the couch after the protector was installed. I know he wasn’t the intended audience, so to speak, but this product works great for dogs too!

Good solution for pet scratching of furniture
I like the product a lot. The technology has improved since I last used adhesive sheets on a sofa. I did find that the pins were necessary to keep the sheets in place particularly at sofa corners, which don’t always adhere well. It takes more time to apply the pins but the protectors are easy. I would not be comfortable using these pins around young children who could potentially choke on them. It may not look pretty on the sofa but I would rather have that than destroyed furniture! Overall, it’s the best solution so far that I have seen to help prevent pet scratching of furniture. My adult cats did not appear interested in the pins or protector sheets, but I have furniture covers on top. Kittens may be different in their interest level. I’m hoping the sheets will last for a while. Would buy again.
