Exceptional quality camera construction and professional grade video quality!
This product from Aosu is simply incredible, i initially bought the two camera outdoor kit and then upgraded to 4 cameras, 2 in-home cameras and a video door bell and the experience thus far has been simply incredible. From the exceptional customer support to the overall experience i believe this company is going to take over the world of home security cameras and rightly so, Aosu deserve it, thier products are way up there with the highly priced ones, the camera build and quality is exceptional, the app that houses all the camera views is amazing and very easy to navigate. The installation is so easy as well, with no wiring needed the experts at Aosu have made sure that the whole installation process is seamless, you literally have to drill two holes in the wall, put the mount on and then screw the camera onto the mount. That’s it ! The cameras are all linked to a main home base wirelessly within the house and it works perfectly, not a single issue. We are so happy with the system that I have purchased another 4 camera for my dad to have at his place and also advised a friend of ours about the system and they are going to be purchasing too. This really is a very good system to have, very professional and the quality of the video is high grade, the motion detection is awesome and being able to zoom in is a major perk. Do your self a favor and give Aosu a try, t heir products are excellent, I will never use any other security cameras again.Auso should lead the world in home Security with these cameras, seriously. They beat everyone else !

Best in class wireless cameras
A review for this and the Aosu Camera Wireless, 5MP Ultra HD doorbell cam-High quality-Affordable-Durable-Strong customer service-Easy Install-Long battery life-High res-No monthly feeThe 3 Aosu cameras that I installed, 1 doorbell, and 2 outdoor elevated, are perfect for my needs. I am mid-level home project guy. Advanced will have no problem, and beginner will be fine if he/she is careful and reads the instructions. My guess who these cameras are perfect for, and who theyâre not perfect for.Perfect: Small home homeowner who only needs a few of these (remember you have to re-charge them), can install them high enough and out of the way enough so they are not easy to steal (see pics), but accessible for the owner to remove them for charging. And their customer service is built right into the interfaceâthey are very responsive!Donât be put off that the camera is not on all the time–It will come on if anyone approaches it. And, it will record briefly and save it in the included external hard drive that connects by wifi. Seems to have unlimited capacity for short vids. I believe these are perfect for the average homeownerâand I compared them with all the majors on the market.Believe me. Unless you are guarding gold bars, or live in a war zone you donât need cameras on all the time recording every piece of lifeâs rich pageant. Iâm glad I donât have reels of tape to go through constantly. Not perfect: Larger homes that require many cameras, and businesses that need all cameras on 24/7, recording everything, and need everything hard-wired.Tips:Take your time installingâit is easy but since you are drilling into the outside of your house, you really want to get it right the first time. Charge the camera in advance, install the software, so you can see exactly what field of view you will have before installing. The hardest part was the doorbell–took some cutting–but still, anyone can do this.Recharge tip. The cameras are easy to unscrew from the bracket that fastens them to the house. Unscrew them, donât try to snap them out of the brackets just for recharging. Sliding the camera out of the bracket, as they recommend, is very tough, and you risk breaking the plastic or pulling the bracket from, the house. Unscrew it instead. Also, I cannot see a condition where the charge would last for 240 days, or whatever is suggested in Aosu advertising. Mine under heavy use, lasted over two months. But that’s it. Takes 4 to 5 hours to recharge. Don’t sweat this though. You charge your phone everyday. No big deal to have to charge a very important device like this just once every two or 3 months.Negative: The only way to view the cameras is using a phone app. This makes little sense and seems like it would be a very easy fix. NEST, for example, has a phone and desktop app. I prefer Aosu to NEST, I have a NEST camera too, but this is a weakness for Aosu, and another reason why I think it has fewer commercial applications.

Awesome camera, but wish it recorded longer than 60 seconds
Pros:- good quality footage- no subscription- easy to remove and recharge- can talk through the camera- easy to use app, minimal lagCons:- if something happens, itâll limit the recording to 60 seconds, which can lead to missing situations you hope you caught footage of.- battery for the camera facing my front porch only lasted 3 months, unlike their promised 1 year of life. (Although, removing and recharging is incredibly easy)

Excellent camera system!
After setting up the system with the two original cameras, we were so pleased that we immediately purchased two add-on cameras. Set up of the original system and the add-ons was all very easy. Just download the app (we have it on 2 android phones), connect the homebase to wifi, connect the cameras wirelessly to the homebase and install the cameras, which was simple to do.Battery life is great, the photos are very clear, and the cameras capture a good amount of area. The triggers are sensitive enough that a deer crossing half-way down the driveway in the attached photo triggered the video at 5:00 AM in the dark. Not only are the cameras great, but customer service is excellent as well. The app has a text option to message the company. I used it to ask some questions about the different features, and they were quick to respond, even at night and on the weekend.Storage is great and being able to delete individual events saves enough memory that we don’t need a cloud subscription (which is an option). I highly recommend this system! It performs well as a security system, although our main interest is seeing the wildlife that visit when they think no one is watching 🙂

What was most impressive for us was the quality of AOSU customer service. One of the two cameras we installed was losing signal. It didn’t matter where we tried it, even right next to the other one that had great signal reception. We sent an email to customer support on the afternoon of November 13th. We received a reply in the morning of November 14th that they would send a replacement within 5 days and were extending our warranty for the inconvenience. We received the replacement late afternoon the next day. We charged it up overnight and installed it this morning (the 16th). It works fine and has even detected a little fox walking by in our yard this afternoon. Wow! This is the best customer service we’ve ever had for devices ever. Really, really impressive! Those are very decent security cameras. There’s no need to pay a monthly fee for monitoring or storing videos. There’s the option to subscribe to their secured cloud storage of videos, for a fee, but it’s not really needed for most residential use. The homebase has plenty of room for residential needs. So there’s the initial cost of the cameras and homebase, which is relatively high, but then that’s it.Installation was relatively easy. Since there’s no wiring involved, there’s no need to hire an electrician or installer. A source of irritation are the setting instructions, or lack thereof. Adjusting the parameters requires a bit of fiddling to customize it to your needs. An easily accessible, detailed, online instruction manual with examples would be very useful. If such a manual exists on their site, we have not found it. You have to hunt around for YouTube videos and they are not always what you’re looking for.The infrared light for night vision is very useful but just know that if there’s a street light in the picture, you’ll need the “white-light-aided” illumination turned on in the parameters. Otherwise, the street light across the street will take up a lot of the picture.

I love my set of cameras, they work great! Have good quality video, easy to use stable app and additionally the customer service is second to none. The features within the app and the app being totally free are a really nice bonus.Only thing to note for any potential buyers is that the home base does need to be plugged into a hardwired LAN port on your router, you can also use a wifi extender/repeater and it will work as well, this is the way I use mine with the extender.

I bought the Aosu Base Station that came with two 2k WiFi connected cameras to add some security to my alley and backyard. I liked this combination because it doesnât require a cloud storage subscription with ongoing fees. Instead, the base station has a 32GB memory card that overwrites itself over time. But if there are recorded incidents itâs very easy to save them to your phone. The camera resolution I would say is very good but I wish it was even better. They sell a 5MP camera that I might consider next. Performance so far has been very good. Set up was quite straightforward and once everything is running the notifications are near instant. Easy to define zones within the view of the cameras to track movement and there are other nice features too – voice alert presets, speak through the camera, alarm siren, and a light. The big question for me, going into winter now, is what will be the battery life when it gets cold. Iâll update my review once I have more information about that. If the battery life is good in the cold I may update my review to five stars.

Update: Had this camera just under a year, and itâs good WHEN IT WORKS. Itâs so unreliable. People come, people go and the camera may capture 50% of activity. Very frustratingEdit: so Iâve had this camera for just over 2 months now and I have to say, itâs less than consistent. At first, it seemed to be reliable picking up motion, as intended. I ended up getting a replacement, as the first one had bad sound quality. The replacement, while the sound is much better, does not detect motion wellâ¦In many cases, it detects long after the event. I attempted to reinstall the initial camera (as Iâd rather bad sound than unreliable footage), only to have it do the exact same thing. For example, it will show the vehicle leaving, but not coming in⦠And sometimes vice versa. Itâs very frustrating, but I am past the return window, so I guess Iâm stuck with it. The worst part, is that I cancelled my subscription with a previous wireless camera (different brand), which worked very well. I just didnât want to pay the fees anymore.Original review: As the title suggests, this is a very good wireless camera, especially for the cost. I was concerned at first because wireless cameras can be unreliable but I tried 2 others and this one is the best by far. Decent battery life, great picture, reliable motion detection (so far) and the best part? No pesky subscription costs!! I did have an issue with the first pair of cameras picking up sound, as I could only hear loud, inaudible static, but was pleasantly surprised when I reached out to customer service and they sent a replacement almost immediately. Customer service seems responsive and stands by their product. Iâm a pleased customer and would recommend.

We have tried these outdoor cameras and we are impressed with the quality of the video, also the battery last longer that we were expecting. Very easy to install and setup the WiFi.
