Great product, viewing angle and video quality is excellent
As someone who prioritizes home security, I recently invested in the AOSU 5MP Security Cameras Outdoor Wireless system with a 166° Ultra-Wide-Angle lens, powered by solar energy and featuring a convenient home base. After using it for a few weeks, I can confidently say it’s one of the best purchases I’ve made for my home security needs.
The image quality and 5MP resolution of this cameras are great, the clarity and detail captured by this camera are exceptional. Whether it’s day or night, the footage remains crisp and clear, allowing me to easily identify any potential threats or intruders. The 166° ultra-wide-angle lens ensures that no corner of my property goes unnoticed, providing comprehensive coverage that gives me peace of mind.
One of the standout features of this system is its wireless design. Installation was a breeze since I didn’t have to deal with any messy cables. Plus, with its solar-powered functionality, I don’t have to worry about constantly replacing batteries or connecting it to a power source.
The included home base serves as the central hub for the system, allowing me to easily manage and access all of my camera feeds from one convenient location. Additionally, the home base provides 32gb storage for recorded footage. This system also offers cross camera tracking which is a great addition. It is weather proof no need to worry about rain/snow/high temperatures.
Overall, a great system and worth for the money.

Love these cameras! Work great for me
This is my second set of Auso cameras I have purchased and have been very happy with them. They are the easiest to install. I had another brand of cameras that took me hours to figure out how to sync but these you plug in and wait for it to come online and scan each camera. It does all the work. The picture quality is great! Night vision is pretty decent too. It has a very small delay on notifications to let you know it detected motion but I think that is due to WiFi limitations and speed of connection also. I do need to upgrade my WiFi. It still notifies me within seconds of someone going past a camera. I have tested it myself. I can get a notification at work and be on the app to look at the video within seconds. It’s nice to be able to see almost in real time what is happening when I am miles away.
The one thing I wish could be improved is the length of recording time. Unless you push to manually record the longest the camera will store one event is 60 seconds. It will pick back up again if they are lingering but I had someone in my backyard and missed where he went because the camera cut off right at the end. He ended up leaving a weapon in my yard so it would have been great to know where he ended up. The picture of him jumping my fence though was very clear and I was able to download it to give to the police. You can manually record and do a longer length that way but I didn’t see the event happening until just after it had happened so was too late to start the camera and manually record his actions. The app does have a spot to store these events. It will keep each one under an event tab for each camera so you can go back to view them or download them to your phone. Which I also appreciate as another brand of camera makes you buy their cloud storage or you cannot even look at the event once it is passed.
I also love that as I have multiple cams around my house there is an option to view up to 4 at the same time. It takes the first 4 in your feed and shows them to you live. That is helpful if you had a notification and missed pushing it to view the camera. You can look at many to see where the person is going. There is also a setting on each camera on the app to detect human only. This I also love as I have a parade of cats through my yard at night and they used to set off my other cameras all the time… the Aosu cameras seem to only pick up human shaped living beings. You can also view each camera individually and open up the camera to look out of it. There is an option to make it full screen on your phone and you can pinch or push to make what you are looking at a bit closer. It doesnt actually zoom the cameras, but you can look closer at what the person is wearing or who they are that way.
The battery life on the cameras are also wonderful. With the solar panels I never have to pull them down and charge them. But even without one of the hooked up to the solar panel I got over 6 months out of the charge. And that was with a lot of detections making the camera go off constantly. I finally hooked up the solar panel to that camera and it charged itself back up to 100% without me having to take the whole camera down and hook it up to a power source. These AOSU cameras have been trouble free and so easy to use. I am very satisfied with these cameras and would buy them again for sure.

Easy Install, Great Connection, Great Cameras
I purchased this set of AOSUOutdoor Solar Security Cameras, after researching many security cameras and I pulled th plug on these. I am very happy and satisfied of how easy they were to install and use. The homebase is great as it stores your recordings. Resolution is very good, the furthest camera was connecting at 62% but added a repeater and if jumped up to 97%. I highly recommend these cameras to anyone. The night vision is great and shows up in black & white. I called AOSU support because I had questions about another product and the support agent was very helpful. Overall, I am very happy with the entire process.

Ich finde das 2er Set Überwachungskameras von aosu rundum gelungen und insgesamt gut verarbeitet. Man kann sie überall anbringen, wo man sie benötigt und braucht dann nur noch die entsprechende App, um alle Funktionen nutzen zu können. Dank der gut funktionierenden Solarpanel wird hier keine Stromquelle benötigt. Außerdem ist sie mit Alexa sowie Google kompatibel und hat einiges an Funktionen zu bieten.
Die Bildqualität ist sowohl bei Tag als auch im Dunkeln dank der Infrarotkamera sowie des eingebauten Blitzes überraschend gut/klar. Mit dem zwei Wege Talk kann man über ein eingebautes Mikrofon/Lautsprecher (wenn nötig) sogar auf die Entfernung kommunizieren. Auch die Breite der Sicht ist durch den 166° Ultraweitwinkel hervorragend, so hat man doch einiges im Blick.
Ich werde jetzt hier aber nicht alle technischen Möglichkeiten einzeln benennen, denn das würde den Rahmen sprengen und ihr müsstet zu viel lesen. Die einzelnen Spezifikationen kann man ja noch mal in der Produktbeschreibung des Herstellers nachlesen.
Fazit: Ich bin rundum zufrieden mit der wertigen und gut durchdachten Überwachungskamera von AOSU. Außerdem finde ich das handlich schicke Design und die einfache Installation praktisch.

Se trata de un kit de cámaras de vigilancia wifi de la marca AOSU. Esta marca tiene a la venta una gran variedad de cámaras de este tipo. Me encantan este tipo de cámaras que se alimentan mediante energía solar, que son sostenibles y aunque pueda parecer que son algo caras, luego a la postre van a ser un ahorro. Como carga auxiliar por supuesto podemos hacer mediante conexión USB-C directamente a la red eléctrica, pero claro para ello hay que extraer las cámaras de su lugar lo cual es un lío siempre. De todas maneras tengo que decir que incluso en esta época de invierno no he tenido que cargar manualmente las cámaras ninguna vez solo la primera vez.
Tiene una resolución de 5MP que le da una definición espectacular, de veras merece mucho la pena respecto a las de 2MP. Tengo otras cámaras de 2MP y las de estas cámaras ofrecen imágenes mucho más nítidas y detalladas. Dispone de visión nocturna en color, y el nivel de nitidez es el mejor que he visto hasta ahora.
Aunque tiene un gran angular de 166°, que proporciona una cobertura bastante amplia, yo la verdad que prefiero las cámaras que se pueden mover con la app. Lo cierto es que también con este método al abarcar tanto horizonte no es necesario la instalación de múltiples cámaras. Otra cosa que lo veo como punto a favor es que las placas solares están desacopladas con lo que las puedes colocar en cualquier lugar mejor orientadas al sol y no en la propia cámara como ocurre en otros modelos.
Lo que diferencia a este kit es que tenemos nuestro propio sistema de almacenamiento local sin cuotas mensuales (aunque por supuesto se puede contratar). Es un sistema de almacenamiento cifrado que evita preocupaciones sobre la privacidad y fugas de datos. Nos viene con una capacidad de 32GB que puede parecer poco pero el fabricante asegura que es capaz de almacenar hasta 180 días de grabación. Este almacenamiento utiliza tecnología eMMC soldada dentro de la base, lo que significa que no está diseñada para ser extraíble o ampliable por medios convencionales. En sistemas como este, la limitación en la capacidad de almacenamiento es una consideración importante, ya que afecta directamente cuánto contenido de video se puede guardar antes de que los datos antiguos comiencen a ser sobrescritos. Es decir que no podemos ampliar el almacenamiento.
La instalación ha sido bastante sencilla, y lo puede hacer cualquier persona sin experiencia previa en sistemas de seguridad. Inicialmente, se montan las cámaras en la ubicación deseada utilizando los soportes y el material de fijación incluido, luego, se conectan al panel solar para asegurar una alimentación energética autónoma. Finalmente, mediante un proceso guiado a través de la aplicación móvil de AOSU, las cámaras se sincronizan fácilmente con la base de almacenamiento, la cual debe estar conectada a tu red doméstica a través de un cable Ethernet, con lo cual la tenemos que colocar por fuerza cerca del router.
El sistema está diseñado para trabajar de manera integrada únicamente con cámaras de la misma marca, lo que significa que la compatibilidad se limita a los productos AOSU. Esto limita la flexibilidad para expandir el sistema con cámaras de otras marcas. Para aquellos que buscan un sistema más abierto, capaz de integrar dispositivos de diferentes fabricantes, sería necesario considerar soluciones alternativas que ofrezcan compatibilidad más amplia con estándares de la industria o que estén diseñadas específicamente para ser agnósticas en términos de marca.
Desde la aplicación móvil se puede acceder a una buena variedad de funciones:
– Visualización en Vivo: Permite a los usuarios ver lo que está sucediendo en tiempo real a través de las cámaras, desde cualquier lugar, siempre que tengan una conexión a internet.
– Reproducción de Videos Grabados: Acceso a los videos almacenados localmente en la base de almacenamiento. Los usuarios pueden revisar grabaciones anteriores para verificar eventos o incidentes específicos.
– Notificaciones de Alerta: Cuando las cámaras detectan movimiento gracias a su sensor PIR, la aplicación envía notificaciones instantáneas al teléfono del usuario, permitiéndole estar informado de cualquier actividad sospechosa.
– Configuración de la Detección de Movimiento: Los usuarios pueden ajustar la sensibilidad de la detección de movimiento y definir zonas específicas para la detección, lo que ayuda a reducir las falsas alarmas.
– Audio Bidireccional: Esta función permite a los usuarios comunicarse con personas cerca de la cámara, gracias al micrófono y altavoz integrados, facilitando la interacción o la disuasión de visitantes no deseados.
– Visión Nocturna en Color: A través de la aplicación, se puede activar la visión nocturna para obtener imágenes claras y detalladas durante la noche, en color, lo que mejora la capacidad de identificar personas u objetos.
– Actualizaciones de Firmware: La app notifica sobre nuevas actualizaciones de firmware disponibles para las cámaras y la base, permitiendo a los usuarios mantener su sistema de seguridad actualizado con las últimas mejoras y correcciones de errores.
– Configuración de Privacidad: Posibilidad de establecer zonas de privacidad dentro del campo de visión de la cámara, donde no se desea grabar ni monitorear, cumpliendo con regulaciones de privacidad.
En definitiva, un buen kit de vigilancia. Si bien no es nada económico se compensa con la variedad de funciones y la calidad de las imágenes. Desde luego es un paso adelante tecnológicamente respecto a otras cámaras de menor resolución, aunque aun así me parece que tienen un coste excesivo. Aunque hay que reconocer que funcionan de maravilla.
