Lightweight, Springy and Very Comfortable for Running For several years we have been running sporadically for health. About a year ago, we became more serious, trying to get back in shape after the pandemic which increased our whole family’s inactivity level. I have several pairs of general purpose every day wear hiking/walking shoes. But, I didn’t have any shoes that were purpose made for running. These Autper Men’s Running Shoes were my first such shoes in many years. These are nice looking and comfortable. They fit like a glove and are quick on and off. They are a little flashy for me for every day wear to the office. But, if I were in college or high school, or for most younger people in casual environments they’d be just fine. These were acquired specifically for an early morning or after work run, or walk. For that, they excel. They are so much lighter and springy than my general purpose activity shoes. The soles have an excellent sole shape to enhance the natural heal to toe roll of your foot, or visa versa. If you contrast this to your average shoe when running or even walking briskly it’s quite noticeable and makes your stride more natural. The soles also do a very good job of absorbing shock. I appreciate this, as running, despite all the positive health benefits can take a long term toll on your knees. These are an excellent choice for a purpose made mid-priced running shoe. That is what I was looking for exactly. If I were evaluating for, or using these in everyday wear my review may have been different. The features and materials choice which make these shoes great walking and running shoes are not as durable for every day wear as harder, stiffer materials used in hiking shoes, for example. These are holding up well after several months of regular use. I like them very much. They easily get five stars.
Comfortable, feels VERY cheap. These shoes are great on my feet. They are very light and bouncy. They also feel very cheaply made. I will be surprised if these last 3 months. These feel like they came from the same factory as the 12.88 Walmart Specials.
Comfort is A+ These shoes are incredibly comfortable.. I wasn’t sure for the first few minutes. Then I could feel them forming to my foot.. love them.. great choice
a bit springier than other sneakers in this price range I’ve been trying sneakers in the $40-$50 price range on Amazon, searching for ones with good support that might improve a bit of soreness I get in my heel and ankle after about 45 minutes on the elliptical. This pair seems to be somewhat better than the last I tried. They aren’t wildly springy, but do have a bit of a bounce to them. After a few sessions with them, maybe I feel a bit better than I did with less bouncy shoes. They look fine, and I’m not ashamed to wear them to the gym. Made in China like everything else, and yes, you wouldn’t mistake them for a top-dollar athletic shoe (most of which are made in China too). But they will do the job if you’re interested in something at this price.
Light weight athletic shoe in medium width NOTE: I do not run or jog so this review does not cover this aspect of the shoe.I go to the gym a couple times a week & I walk an hour or so several times a week so I was looking for a light weight, cool & comfortable athletic shoe. The model I’ve been using for the last several years is no longer made so I started looking around. The ad described these shoes for all around use. The fit was a bit tight (I’m a D width and they don’t offer different widths in the ad). The heel extends beyond the back of the shoe & I’m not sure if that’s just for looks or it has a purpose. It didn’t affect my use of the shoe so far. They are very comfortable and after 4 hours of walking both outside & inside I like wearing them. The slight pattern on the thread has worn away but it still has good traction. The heel is a bit spongy & took some time to get used to that feel but now I like the extra cushioning. They look well made & I saw no defects any where. The only downside I found so far is the tongue itself is very thin & flexible & tends to roll under itself when putting the shoe on. So I have to make sure I straighten it out before I tie the laces. The first time I wore them was just sitting around the house (no sweating) to stretch them out a bit and when I took them off I noticed some red dye on my socks. For me this is not a big deal but just mentioned it.The price seemed in the same area as the other shoes I was looking at though none of them had the cushioned heel. If these last a few years it will be a good deal.
Good sneakers for gym class My 9 year Old grandson uses these sneakers for gym class. He says they help him run better. I think they are a tiny bit too big for him but probably size 7 is too big for him but he will grow into them. Light weight and look nice.
not as lightweight or springy as name-brand running shoes I wear men’s size 9 shoes and ordered these shoes fit me well in size 9. Compared to name-brand running shoes that I own, these are a little heavier, don’t fit as closely, and are less springy when I’m running. The air cushion in the heel does cushion the shock when I’m walking, but not so much when I’m running and landing more on the front part of my feet. Maybe these shoes will work better for tennis and walking, even though running is the first sport in the product title. Price seems a little high for this build quality.
