Soft and comfortable
I bought these in the light green in an XL (181 lbs, 5’4″). I really like these; they are soft, comfortable, and great quality and weight. Not too long or short. I could probably have fit in a L just fine, but I don’t like form fitted clothing and XL suits my needs. I plan to buy other colors and I’m very pleased with them.

Thick material
Love how thick these are, not see through. The band helps compress a little if you carry your weight in your belly. It doesn’t accentuate my belly. Comfortable, breathable. The leg holes are wide so wear a covering underwear.

Baeleaf is pretty good with their fabric choices, soft and typically nontransparent. I own a few of their biker shorts for guys and haven’t been disaapointed The fit was quite loose in the legs, i now understand the “A” shape they reference.

Very comfortable with pockets!
Normally Amazon chooses my size well but I went based on a combo of my measurements and the suggestion. That put me at an XL. For reference I bought short size 16 jeggings from AE the other day. I carry a lot of my weight in my thighs and hips. I find it challenging to get shorts long enough to not ride up AND to be baggy in the back (hang down from my butt) all while NOT giving me a sagging looking crotch 😆 and these shorts do it. And the pockets are so big. Love these.

Would be the perfect golf short if inseam in the back was a little longer
Baleaf Women’s 5 inch Hiking Shorts Quick Dry Shorts would be the perfect golf short if the rise was 1/2 inch longer. That is the reason for 4 stars instead of 5. The 91.2% Polyester, 8.8% Spandex material is cool, comfortable and wrinkle free. The pockets are deep with ample room for golf balls and tees which are usually lacking in most women’s golf shorts. I usually wear a size 16 and sometimes a 14. I ordered the XL. For my size I do not have the most prominent butt cheeks so the center seam is ok but the back view would be much better I think if the inseam was just a little more giving. The 5 in length is very flattering on my athletic looking thighs and the elastic waist is comfortable. The great pockets make up for the less than perfect back inseam issue. I would consider ordering more in other colors.
