8 reviews for Belle Poque Women’s Bodycon Pencil Skirt with Belt Knee Length 1950s Vintage Work Business Skirts
True to size love the fit  I purchased this skirt and it arrived fast. I read the reviews and was iffy on the size you just never know. I’m 5’7 and my weight fluctuates between 153-158 I have curves and I wasn’t sure what to expect. I purchased a medium which is what I wear in most skirts since losing weight I was 180 last year. I tried it on and it fits perfectly it accentuates my curves zips up fine the material is nice it comes down to my knees . The belt loops are larger so you can add a chunkier belt rather than the skinny belt that comes with. I purchased the red skirt. I like how the front is scrunched up a bit and the back is smooth. Its form fitting but not restrictive like most pencil skirts. I recommend! I’m going to definitely purchase other colors.
Comfortable Hugs your curves can be dressed down, or up. A bit thin material, but still great quality. I catch myself wearing it all the time for comfort.
soft, thick. quality is soft and thick, no lining needed. However, my hips tend to extenuate with the design quite a bit. It would look more awesome if I was younger (I am 37) or was wearing shape wear underneath, but without that, I cannot say I would wear this comfortably given how my figure appears. I am a size 4, (got a small) petite. It is a comfortable skirt, so maybe wearing an oversized sweatshirt or sweater might make it nice but defeats the purpose of the skirt. The color is slightly lighter in person as well.
It felt good and was very lightweight I shall reorder in a different size it felt too tight across the bottom too me but the length was great and I don’t wear short skirts
Flattering style, hugs all the right places! Oh my goodness, what a flattering skirt, I love it! I am 5′ 5.5″, about 135-140 lbs, 30.5″ waist, 37″ hips, long legs, short torso and I feel like this style was made for me. I went with size medium because although the waist measurement on the sizing chart is a tad smaller than me, the sizing for the hips was already wider than I am so I took a chance that it would work out since there is some stretch to the material. That turned out to be the right choice to make, it fits very well. I got so many compliments when I wore it! The only thing that I didn’t care for is the attached under slip feels like it gets twisted or bunched up easily and I found myself adjusting it every so often for the 3 hours I wore it. It would be better if the attached slip was longer. Other than that, I would happily order this in a couple more colors. It’s hard to find skirts that flatter me, feel comfortable at the waist and don’t highlight my love handles AND it even accentuated my not so blessed backside since it hugs in just the right places. It wasn’t accentuating things so much though that I felt it was inappropriate at Sunday morning service, just the right amount to be flattering yet modest.
