Great phone Battery life incredible 💪Processor speed is very good 💯Tough as they getWay more waterproof than advertised.Thermal camera isn’t the best, but the normal camera is very good.Absolutely worth every penny.Don’t put cheap SD cards in it though, if you do, it won’t wake up when you press the power button.Best phone I’ve ever had.
Very rugged This is my 3rd Blackview phone. I keep them on average 3-4 years, so every time I get a new phone, the upgrade is HUGE, and not incredibly expensive. Prior to finding Blackview, I broke many a phone because I am naturally clumsy – these phones can take a beating and still perform. My only conplaint is that the camera SUCKS, but In order to have a phone thatI know I won’t break, I’m willing to make that tradeoff.
The best Android phone I’ve had in 10 years! Yes, it’s heavy and bulky but, I like it that way! For an old Contractor with fat fingers it’s perfect. It’s fast, responsive, and intuitive (like iPads used to be). I hated learning a new phones quirks every time I was forced to get a new one however, this was a joy. Loved the Flir- I have one as a stand alone unit from 8 or so years back- MUCH BETTER AND CHEAPER NOW! Most of the other new technology seems to get in its own way all of the time now a days, it’s great to have one exception in my life. My last two Androids were high-end brand names that were like pulling teeth to get anything done with!! I kept thinking- ” I thought these things were supposed to be getting faster” but, it seemed dial-up slow because of the redundant and unnecessary questions and cloud-centric bafoonary etc. Like going to the gas station pumps now- “Are you a member? Do you want a car wash today? Would you like a receipt? How did we do today?” – Just let me pump my gas already!!
Awesome phone that doesn’t work with AT&T US I was sad to have to send this phone back. Despite what the listing and some reviews say, at least as of September 2023, it is not supported on AT&T for mobile data in the US.
Phone died without a reason 1 week into purchase and easy use with tmobile the phone just went dead and I had to return. The android software installed is similar to the android you know but not the same
The phone to rule them all! FLIR is an amazing feature  The Blackview BV8900 Rugged Smartphone, a powerhouse that’s not only tough but also packed with some seriously impressive features.Let’s talk about durability. This phone is a tank! I’ve dropped it a couple of times, and it didn’t even flinch. It’s IP68 waterproof, which means I don’t have to worry about using it in the rain or accidentally dropping it in a puddle. It’s also dustproof, which is a huge plus if you’re often in dusty environments. Now, let’s talk about the FLIR thermal image camera. This feature is a game-changer. I was on a camping trip and used it to check for heat leaks in our tent during a chilly night. It’s also great for spotting wildlife at night or identifying hot spots in machinery. It’s like having a thermal vision superpower right in your pocket. The battery life is another standout. With a massive 10,000mAh battery, this phone lasts forever. I took it on a weekend hiking trip and didn’t even need to bring a power bank. Plus, the 33W fast charging is a lifesaver. I can charge it up quickly before heading out, and it’s good to go for the day.The camera quality is on point. The 64MP camera captures stunning details, and the results are vibrant and sharp. I’ve used it for landscape shots, portraits, and even close-ups, and I’m always impressed with the results. The display is a treat for the eyes. The 6.5-inch 2.4K display is super crisp, making it a joy to watch videos or browse photos. The colors pop, and the brightness is great even under direct sunlight. And guess what? NFC is here too! It’s so convenient for contactless payments or sharing files with friends who also have NFC-enabled devices.Lastly, Android 13 runs like a dream on this phone. The UI is smooth, and I love the customization options. In a nutshell, the Blackview BV8900 is a rugged smartphone that’s not just tough but also brings some seriously cool features to the table. Whether it’s the FLIR thermal camera, the massive battery, or the stunning display, this phone has become my go-to companion for adventures and daily use. If you’re in the market for a rugged yet feature-packed smartphone, this one is a strong contender.
Heavier than most but really rugged and great battery life. Love the camera features, very useful when looking for hot or cold spots. The really smart phone that saves you money on heating bills, wow!
I’ve only been using the phone a few days now but so far it’s looking good – very quick and easy set up, including transfer of everything from my old phone (Blackview BV6800 Pro) and replicating onto this one. Seems to run much faster than I had become used to, including internet speed etc.The only thing I’m concerned with is that it doesn’t seem to pick up any of the wireless chargers I’ve tried it on – so far I’ve placed it on 3 different charging pads and it hasn’t responded to any yet. I hope that I’m just missing something here as I’ll be quite disappointed if it isn’t able to charge wirelessly. Perhaps the seller can advise??
