Briggs New York Women’s Plus Size Pull on Dress Pant Average & Short Length

Great plus size, short, maternity pants!
I’m so happy I found these pants. I’m currently 23 weeks pregnant and these are great for right now. I don’t think they’ll fit throughout my entire pregnancy, but they should stretch with me for a while longer. I work in a pretty professional office and these are perfect – the right material, not too tight, not see through. And the best part – they have POCKETS! I saw some reviews saying the pockets were sewn and I assumed they meant they weren’t real pockets. They ARE real, they just may need to be cut open – they’re sewn shut for shipping.I haven’t washed them yet so I don’t know how they’ll hold up, but for now I’m very happy!I’m 5’3″ and normally wear a size 18 short. Since these aren’t officially maternity pants I ordered a size 20 short and they’re great. The legs are a smudge big, but not enough that I’m worried about it. And the pants are the teeniest bit longer than I’d like, but I’m not going to hem there because it’s THAT small of a difference. And I wear flats – if you wear any sort of heel at all, these should be just the right length!

I’m 5’5 and at my heaviest- around 240 lbs. My weight sits mostly in my stomach/butt/thighs area. The pants fit just perfectly but a little tight in the stomach/thigh. If they were a hair smaller I’d have to size up. I want things to be fitted so they’re just right. Material is very nice- not see through. I did get the 2X/short and I’m glad I did, but I’m not sure I can wear heals with them because it’ll look like high waters. Definitely recommend for work clothing!

Very nice but pockets are a little small for a cell phone.
I almost sent them back because a pocket for a cell phone is not an option for me. It’s a necessity. However, if I am careful, my cell phone will stay put, which is better than similar pants I have tried. Six or seven years ago, all elastic waisted pants from a variety of manufacturers had room for my cell phone. I am wearing very old pants because in 2024, I can’t get big enough pockets. My cell phone is my pedometer, among other things, so manufacturers, please make pockets on women’s pants big enough to hold a cell phone.

Perfect
I purchased these in black for my Mom’s funeral last year and I absolutely love them. I purchased the reg length 20 plus however they were a little big (I wasn’t really sure of my size) and way too long for me I’m 5’6 so I purchase the 18 Plus Short and they were perfect. I actually purchased another pair in black but my only issue is that I want them in blue but can’t find them anywhere. I recommend these they are extremely comfortable as well.

Excellent dress pants. Fit is really nice, I had to shorten them but all my pants get shortened. They are nice and dressy, not a heavy fabric.

These pants fit perfectly and very comfortable.
