Great, Fun, Cheap Makeup Ser
Bought this for my 12 year old niece for Christmas. She loves makeup and it’s a great set for fun experimentation, and learning to put makeup on and how to do different things with it, without wrecking or wasting more expensive makeup.
Lots of colors, lots of different product to play with: eye shadow, blush, lipstick and applicators. Super fun set. She was delighted and so was I.
I was surprised at the lack of Amazon packaging protection when it came (as in no box, no bubble wrap … just cling wrap plastic around the product packaging) but nothing was damaged or broken so it all worked out in the end — but — that was still sketchy and an unnecessary risk.
I take no stars off because it is not product related, but be aware.

Great starter makeup kit
I got this for my granddaughter for Christmas and she loved it. She is doing makeup tutorials, so I will be placing more makeup orders.

This make-up kit comes well packaged in a nice box, but unfortunately a very large address sticker was placed on the box so it could be shipped to me, making the box no longer giftable.
The make-up comes in a foam padding inside the box. Once opened, there are 4 different levels of trays of make-up and brushes. Also lipstick, mascara and lip glosses.
I feel this would be great for a teen just starting to use make-up. There are a lot of colors to choose from and experiment with. But each color is just a small amount, so it won’t last long. There is no way of knowing what color you are using to order more. I don’t even know if that is possible. So when the color is gone, it is gone unless you are going to purchase a complete new kit.
This is quite large in size and no way would I consider this to be travel sized. It would take up a great deal of room in the suitcase or carry-on. And you can’t take it with you to do any touch-ups if needed. So definitely not that convenient.
But it is a great price for a lot of different colors for someone who is just starting out to learn how to apply make-up.
So far there has been no skin irritation and I will update the review if that changes. I think this is a nice set for a young person, but no way do I feel this is a professional make-up kit.
