Columbia Men’s Granite Trail Mid Waterproof Hiking Shoe

AMAZING hiking boots
After 4 attempts with different models and other brands of hiking boots, finally I found these boots on Amazon, for my husband, to be used on a 5 days hiking trip to Utah. My husband says they are absolutely comfortable, lightweight, and they proofed to have a great traction and grip. My husband has flat fleet, and the boots were fantastic for walking long hours everyday during 5 days in a row.

Worst hiking boot ever!
On the third hike with these boots, the front of the right boot reconfigured itself. The area where the ball of the foot sits, became high on the outsides, low in the middle, causing a great deal of pain. That reshape prevented the toes from lying flat, causing a severe blister on the big toe. Absolutely could no longer wear them. They look new, but cannot be worn. Unfortunately, beyond the return window.

Great fit and quality of materials seems to be top drawer. Have only done around town walking with them so far, but look up for the challenge for some hikes in the woods.
