size may run large I’ve been looking for a comfortable strapless bra for a while, and this almost fits the bill. It is very comfortable and soft, but I think I need a smaller size. I followed the sizing chart and got an extra large based on my measurements and general bra size. I usually wear a 40b, but wear mostly sports bras for comfort and a decent fit. This cup size on this strapless bandeau bra is fine, but and inch or so shorter in length would probably be a better fit for me. Because of it being a little too large, I do have to pull it up now and then as it slips in spite of the silicone strip. And if I reach down for something, I’ve had the front hooks come undone! That was a surprise! (I was at home trying it out, so no harm done.) The clear thin straps are fine so far, but I got the bra to be strapLESS. I’ve hand washed it and line dried it. The slits to put the pads bask in are a little small, so putting them back in without fold is kind of annoying, but at least they are round. I’ve had triangular shaped ones that were awful to get back into place on other bras. The round ones are easier to deal with compared to those. So, over all, I am happy with this bra, but am considering going for a smaller size.
Very cute, tho⦠The bra itself is nice. I really like the scalloped top, adds a bit of flare for the open top blouse. Iâve not really like the open front bras, tho this one works. Fabric is soft, clasps hole well, color is nice and subtle, not an over powering bright white.A few things for me tho⦠the cushions, they are a bit thicker than Iâd like, they show way to much especially by itself or with a thinner or sheer blouse. I wear a bra I donât want the padding being so visible, especially the outline of it.The size, it comes in set sizes, itâs not made for cup sizes. I understand this, I know that set sizing will have some variation. Iâm a 32 DD, so the the size chart says to order a medium. While it does fit around the body well, holding the girls solidly is another issue. My âgirlsâ are natural and not fake, so they have movement weight to them, so this causes this particular bra to migrate down, resulting in having to readjust often while walking. For the smaller âgirlsâ, I can see how this bra would work much better. No underwire is great! No straps is nice. This one has some cupping, but does mash things a bit.Overall itâs a decent bra, well made, just doesnât really accommodate the more endowed woman in my opinion.
Love the inner anti-slip silicone bands The bra is super duper soft, thick all around with paddings. I thought front closure is easier than the back but it looks like it takes getting used to as it’s been taking me a bit longer to hook all of them in place. The anti-slip bands on the inner top part is very reassuring as I don’t feel like this falls off on me when I wear it. I do wish I sized up cause I was in between according to the sizing chart cause it feels a bit too tight around my chest.
A little disappointed I am a fan of strapless bras. I was excited when I saw this on Amazon because it has gotten hard to find strapless bras. This is just hard to put on. It’s easier to try from the bottom to the top otherwise it’s impossible to do. It’s cheaply made and the lining is not the best. It comes down a considerably amount of times and I don’t even have big breasts. This is definitely not for large busted women
Weird fit This bra squashes my boob’s and the pads make them look lumpy. I’d hoped the smoother, soft material would help with that problem that accompanies most bandeau bras but, it honestly made it worse. The scalloped edges and stark white coloring actually made it even more visible under a lighter colored top. I don’t recommend.
Soft and comfortable The fabric is soft and buttery. I love that the closure is in the front.Personally, I have to wear this with the straps. My chest has no form at all, basically being empty skin bags. This bra can hold them somewhat without the straps, but only in a 70s sag type of way. I’m too self-conscience for that, though. If you have any definition to your chest, it will complement them well.I’m unsure why the review process asks about sheerness. This is not sheer, nor is it meant to be.
comfortable but can’t tighten I got lucky and the size I ordered fit perfectly. The risk with any strapless bra is it being too loose and sliding down. This one fit well, no gaps and no seam lines shown through shirt. I did notice that the top edge above the last/top clasp flared out. I couldn’t see it with the shirt I had on, but if you have a silk or thin type of top it’s something to note.4/5 bc there is no way to tighten this bra. There is one set of clasps in the front, so order the right size. Also only a 4/5 bc after wearing this for a few hours I had to pull it up and adjust it several times. I’m not sure if it’s just the movement or if it was stretching out. Either way, it really is a comfortable soft bra. It comes with clear straps to attach if desired.
