Comfortable, Light Weight
These water/beach shoes are very light weight (11.4 oz for both shoes), flexible, comfortable, and work well both on land and in the water. The shoe has a thin, removable waffle insole which has a mesh cover that prevents sand from entering your foot bed from the holes at the bottom of the shoe (for water drainage) and up through the insole. This is a good thing since nothing is more irritating to your feet than sand trapped between your bare foot and a cinched up shoe against your wet skin, rubbing against you like sandpaper or sand/grit between your toes. Traction is quite good as well. The soles are textured and grooved for grip on slippery surfaces. The material of the sole is on the softer side so I do not think they will hold up well in the long run for use on pavement or hard surfaces alone but given how inexpensive these shoes are you can afford to wear them out prematurely of you wanted to do so. I got these for use at the beach, when walking on hot sand where going barefoot isn’t an option, and to wade into the rocky, broken seashell beds of these beaches. The lightweight mesh material of the upper shoe breathes very well. This airflow will help the shoe’s mesh material dry quickly, while the foam insole, made of non-water absorbable materials, will dry out quickly as well, especially with the water drain holes at the bottom of the shoe’s sole providing additional air flow/ventilation. They run true to size, FYI, so pick out the size in the same you wear for your street shoes/sneakers.

Good design and performance
I use these shoes for launching kayaks from concrete and gravel boat ramps, so this review is based on those uses. Compared to several other water shoes I have tried, these have the best support and sole thickness. I can walk on large gravel without pain in my sensitive feet. They look about like a normal shoe unlike a lot of the water shoes out there. The fit seems to be about true to the size listed. The elastic drawstring allows you to customize the fit, and slide on and off easily. The insole also has drains so all water runs out completely unlike any others I have tried. I had no water in my floorboard after getting in and out of my vehicle. They did have a very strong chemical smell when opened. I left them outside for 3 days and don’t notice it now. I don’t know about sand, but for the purposes I mentioned, I think they are about as good as you can get for the price range.

Great boat shoes
I took a gamble on these for offshore fishing trips in the warmer months. Deck boots are too hot and heavy. Flip flops are not that secure and bare feet take a toll on the body.Year or so and they have held up fine. Very comfortable and secure. Now for the downside. They seem to dry very slowly and I can’t get the fish odor out of them without bleach.

Excellent shoes for water sports.
Review of DLGJPA Men’s Lightweight Quick Drying Aqua Water Shoes Athletic Sport Walking Shoes.I purchased these shoes for boating. They are comfortable, true to size, have excellent traction (even on smooth, wet deck), and dry very fast. They seem to be very well-made.I purchased them mostly with sailing in mind, but after using them during an arduous, two-day regatta (which we won…thank you very much), I now use them for fishing and casual walking around my yard. Although they are very comfortable for casual walking, they are not serious hiking shoes.I purchased them in black to mask the unavoidable dirt around boat ramps, but they do get warm in the Chesapeake Bay summer. So, I will keep the black ones for sailing and will order a lighter color for fishing. I recommend this product.
