Good Bike for the Price
I purchased this bike as a 2nd bike for our home gym. We have a Peloton but workout schedules can overlap so I purchased this bike as a 2nd bike. After much research, I landed on this product.Reasons I choose this over other budget bikes:-Simple features: There are numerous options in the budget spin bike category. I avoided budget bikes that offer additional tech features since they are likely to be inferior to mid and upper-range bikes (Bluetooth connection, mobile apps, workout platforms, etc.)-Aesthetics: The black/red combo looks sharp, similar to other higher end brands. I wanted a bike that looks similar to our Peloton.-Magnetic Resistance: Most budget bikes use friction resistance, which can be loud and requires replacing pads.-Product Reviews: A) This had a good number of Amazon reviews, most from verified purchasers (some budget bikes have very few); B) Most are positive; C) Few negative reviews and the trends of the negative reviews weren’t as concerning as other bikes (bike falling apart, sensors/screens failing, etc.)After receiving and testing the bike, here are the pros and cons.Pros:-Sturdy: I’ve been on budget bikes before that rock or even almost tip over. This bike feels very sturdy and does not rock.-Quiet: Magnetic resistance does keep noise to a minimum.*As far as the magnetic resistance goes, it’s not as precise and controlled as an upper range bike but it gets the job done. I can’t reasonably put this as a “con” because of the price of the unit.-Smooth ride: Although the magnetic resistance adjustment isnât as responsive as one might find on a high-end bike, the magnetic resistance offers a consistent and smooth pedal stroke.-Assembly: Pretty easy to put together. Took between 30-45 minutes to assemble, most of which was removing the bike from packaging. It was very well packed.-Value: The the pros far outweigh the cons considering the price.Cons (nothing is a deal breaker in my opinion):-Placement of Metrics Screen: Having the metric screen in the tablet holder is an interesting design decision. This makes it difficult (or impossible) to use/read metrics if using a tablet to take a class (or any reason for that matter).*Note: This is fairly easy to modify (see modifications at end of review).-LED Screen Readability: The text is small and lighting is minimal. Nothing you can really do about it unless you want to buy your own device.-Flimsy Plastic Attachments: The water bottle holder and tablet holder feel like they could easily break. For approx $200, there has to be concessions somewhere. Easy to swap out if you really wanted to.-Seat Post Height: This bike isn’t optimal for my 6’3 frame. I read reviews from others that are 6’2 saying it worked great for them. Thought I’d gamble on it working for me too but the seat is a couple inches short on the highest setting out of the box.*I made a cheap modification to fix this; see modifications below.Modifications:-Clip-in Pedals: I had some clip-in pedals laying around that I was able to install instead of the stock flat pedals with toe cages.-LED Screen Placement: Since unable to view the LED metrics screen while using a tablet, I removed the device/screen showing the metrics and mounted it in the middle of the handle bars with a command strip. This can be done by unscrewing the tablet holder from the mount and sliding out the device/screen.-Extra Seat Height: I purchased a 27.2x350mm seat post tube for $8 and a 27.2mm seat post clamp for $7. I shortened the seat post tube to the height I needed, removed the seat from the approx 2 inch round post it sits on, slide the extension on top of the 2inch post and used the clamp to secure the extension in place. After a few modifications, this meets our needs. Is it better than an upper range bike? No. But it’s a fine alternative if you’re looking to spend 1/4 the price.

Smooth and Quiet!
I’ll preface this by saying I have no experience with spin-style exercise bikes. I ride real bikes and have used the regular ones and fan types at the gym. I primarily wanted something very solid and smooth and this fits the bill. It’s quite heavy and stable. The resistance ranges from very little to as hard as I can handle as someone who only bikes recreationally. The computer is hard to figure out and the instructions aren’t much help, but that wasn’t important to me. Assembly was out easy. The saddle and pedal cages are pretty lousy but easily replaceable. It looks like many brands sell the same basic bike probably from the same factory, so I kinda regret not getting one from a more established brand with parts support but we’ll see.

Well built, quiet and smooth
An excellent value considering the low price for a solidly built, quiet and smooth exercise bike. It goes together quickly and easily. The adjustments for resistance, handlebar height, seat height and front/back are very easy to operate. It is heavy but thatâs a plus giving it excellent stability if youâre spinning hard and/or fast. The digital readout for speed, cadence, heart rate and calories is handy but the display is not bright enough. The reason for only 4 stars is the seat doesnât go up quite high enough for me (6â2â) and the seat is not very good.

Great bike
I recently purchased the DMASUN Exercise Bike and I couldn’t be happier with my decision. As a fitness enthusiast, I was in need of a quality indoor bike that could help me achieve my fitness goals, and the DMASUN Exercise Bike exceeded my expectations.First and foremost, the bike’s magnetic resistance system is outstanding. It provides a quiet and smooth ride, which is perfect for exercising at home without disturbing others. The resistance levels are adjustable, allowing me to increase or decrease the difficulty of my workout to match my fitness level. In addition, the bike is incredibly stable and durable. Its heavy-duty steel frame can support up to 350 pounds, enabling me to ride with confidence. The non-slip pedals, adjustable seat, and handlebars provide a comfortable and safe riding experience, which is crucial for extended workout sessions. The large ipad holder is a standout feature of the DMASUN Exercise Bike. I can safely put my phone and tablet on it so that I can watch videos while exercising. LCD monitor has a very good performance, it displays my speed, time, distance, pulse, and calories burned, which helps me track my progress and stay motivated. The monitor is easy to read, even in low-light conditions, which is a plus for early morning or late night workouts.Overall, I would highly recommend the DMASUN Exercise Bike to anyone looking for a high-quality, reliable indoor bike. It’s perfect for beginners and experienced cyclists alike, and its features and benefits are second to none. Whether you’re looking to get in shape, train for an upcoming race, or simply maintain your fitness level, the DMASUN Exercise Bike is the perfect choice.

Good unit worth the price.Tools are provided to assemble the handle bar, pedals and seat. Instructions are very good and simple to understand with numbered parts that are bubble packed.Mechanically it is sound, sturdy, quiet and running true. I have no mechanical worries about this unit. The electronic quartz display is basic, but welcomed cycled information (hence the price, no video, but thereâs a ledge for your iPad). The magnetic resistance mechanism is very good and capable of an instant stop by slamming down onto the turn knob. It stops immediately. If youâre a beast and plan on riding it like a beast then youâll have to place it on a gymâs rubber floor. The pedals are outdoor pedals that are sharp for footwear not to slip.Edit: if the Mode button is pressed for a length of time, itâll erase all the accumulated Data, even though the instruction manual mentions that the Reset button has to be pressed. Donât rely on the display for anything. It is so dim that a flashlight is needed to read it, if youâre a tall person.

It is a good purchase experience. The package arrived in pretty good condition. Easy for one person to set up alone. Good for daily cycling training or exercise. It is smooth and quiet when you use it for cycling. It will not be a problem to use it in your bedroom, lol, even if someone sleeps inside. Because so quiet. it is good a chance to use this equipment if you want to loss weight and highly like this produce.

The bike is a good entry level exercise bike. It runs smooth and quiet as one would expect. The build seems solid so far and I expect it to hold up well with occasional screw tightening. I have three complaints bringing the rating down to 4 stars.1. The lcd screen is far to dim and the labels that tell you what each section is displaying are unreadable.2. The cup holder seems flimsy and I can see why itâs preferable to have 2 cup holders on the handlebars.3. The resistance could probably scale up faster. Not a big issue for me at my present fitness level but it may be a concern down the road.Overall I would recommend it as a starter bike.

Upon getting my bike I set it up and notice the foam by the bend in the handlebar was cracked. I reached out to customer service explaining the issue and if it worsened it could have an impact on the heart rate sensor as it is attached to the foam. After some discussion, customer service offered to send me a new bike to rectify the issue. This is more than I was expecting, I just wanted a replacement handlebar. Pretty good service after all said and done!

I was having issues with the seat staying in place (it was tilting back while riding). Tightened the seat and it seemed to finally stay in place until today when the seat broke while getting on the bike for a ride. I am very lucky that I caught myself and was not mid ride as there is a very good chance I would have land in the post beneath the seat. This is very dangerous. To return, I have to pay the shipping and they will reimburse up to $3.99?! For a faulty and dangerous product. Unacceptable! **update – I contacted Amazon Customer Service and they will cover the shipping back, but at the time of writing the update I havenât yet been contacted be the logistics company to pick up the bike**
