The Perfect Shorts
I am extremely picky about my pants/shorts so it takes a truly well engineered piece of clothing to meet my expectations; these are the only model of shorts I will ever order again because they have EVERYTHING I am looking for.Here are the things I look for in the perfect pair that these provide: the cargo pocket is flush with the outside leg of the pant so it doesn’t look like a big bulky cargo pocket – the main side pocket openings runs horizontal instead of vertical so your phone/stuff doesn’t fall out when you sit down – the side pockets are deep enough to fully fit my phone but not so deep that my stuff knocks against my front thigh or knee – the back pockets have velcro so I dont have to worry about my wallet falling out – the belt loops are properly spaced so that my carabiner key ring isn’t all the way on my butt or all the way forward by the zipper – the material is sturdy but breathable (not to heavy and not too light) – they dry quick if they get wet and water beads on the surface preventing stains – the fabric has some stretch so they don’t restrict my movement if I’m hiking or squatting working on my car.Like I said: I’m picky about my pants. These shorts meet all of my needs and I bought several more pairs in all available colors so that I’m set for years. They’re just the right length so they don’t look like baggy skater shorts but not so short that they’re like grandpa shorts. I highly recommend these to anyone else who is as picky about their shorts as I am (as a side note the Eddie Bauer Rainier long pants are equally great and I have like 5 pairs of those too for when it’s winter).

Terrific shorts from Eddie!
My go to shorts anytime when the weather is warm and it’s a shorts type of day. Workmanship seems to be pretty good, after having these for a few months they still are looking good, except for the logo on the bottom of the shorts starting to peel a bit from washes I believe. These also dry quite fast so if you’re hiking or get into a bit of water you’ll be dry in no time!
