A Well Built and Attractive Belt
I was looking forward to receiving this belt after reading the reviews. The quality and craftsmanship appeared to be above that of the competitors. It was delivered in an attractive gift box hinting this was not just another belt. When you open the box, the smell of genuine leather hits you. The belt is covered with a protecting sheath, the buckle surrounded by tape and plastic. It shows how much forethought the manufacturer put into their product. I couldn’t wait to try it on.To my surprise, the belt is too large for me. I have to admit I am thin but I followed the measurement information on the site 34 – 38 inches. I have a 34 inch waist and have been so much of my life. I was really disappointed. Not wanting to give up I went to my work bench and drilled an extra hole at the appropriate spacing. I spent time hiding the discoloring and stretching of the new hole – it is hard to see a difference at this point when wearing it.I really like this belt because of the quality and how comfortable it is to wear. I would have given it a 5 if it fit without modification.

My new favorite belt
Super comfortable. Looks great for casual or business casual. I’m a 34 jeans size, and the 34-38 fits perfect with the belt set right in the middle of the available holes.

A nice belt for casual wear.
It is sized as described. Initially, it appears well made with leather and an elastic material. The elastic is firm enough to be supportive, and not too stretchy. It also comes in a nice box suitable for gift giving. I would have given it more stars were it not priced as high as it is. I am unsure that this is a great value, but it is a nice, functional belt.

Nice belt, but won’t work for me
I am used to wearing a solid leather belt and thought I would give elastic a try. After trying this belt, I see I have two problems. First, I am used to putting about 2 or 3 pounds of materials in my pockets (wallet, keys, cell phone, etc.). Who knows what might wind up in my pockets today, but it is minimum of 2 pounds. Second, since my belly is bigger than my hips (maybe a lot bigger), the top part of the lower half of my body is shaped like a funnel. Because of these two factors, I need the support that comes with a solid leather belt to prevent constantly having to pull up my pants.As long as I have empty pockets, this belt works fine for me. It looks good and it holds my pants up.With my normal extra stuff in my pockets, I find myself constantly trying to pull up the pants (e.g., every time I change from a seated position to a standing position).
