Great Cooling Blanket
This is the 2nd cool long blanket I purchased and this one is way more cool. I love it! Very light weight and soft. It keeps me cool at night I would definitely recommend buying it.

Also works for winter!
During the wintertime, my wife likes to keep the house a little warmer at night than I do. So in the interest of marital harmony, I decided to give this blanket a try, using it in combination with the comforter I normally use. Not really sure of the best way to combine the two covers, I tried all four possible combinations for at least two nights each way. Here’s what I learned:
Combo #1 – blanket UNDER comforter (i.e. next to me), shiny (nylon/polyethylene) side DOWN: VERY cool at first, but the temperature rose pretty gradually over about an hour to the point where it was definitely hotter than the comforter alone (which makes sense, as the comforter acted as an insulating layer; the heat absorbed by the blanket pretty much stayed under the comforter)!
Combo #2 – blanket UNDER comforter, shiny side UP: started off at a pretty similar temperature as that of the comforter by itself, then rose a bit over about 30 minutes to the same level as Combo #1. Again, not the solution I was looking for.
Combo #3 – blanket OVER comforter, shiny side UP: this was the definitely the hottest! After about 2 hours each of the nights I tried it, I was sweating and couldn’t take any more!
Combo #4 – blanket OVER comforter, shiny side DOWN (as in the video): THIS was the method I was looking for! After about an hour, the temperature was clearly cooler than the comforter by itself, but not SO cool that it was uncomfortable. I’d say that the level of cool stabilized after about four hours.
Since finding the best solution for my needs (Combo #4), I have been sleeping more comfortably than I ever have been able to during my 15-year marriage to my heat-loving wife! It is no exaggeration to state that this blanket has changed my life for the (much) better. Moreover, after my experimenting with it, I’m certain that it will work (as advertised) to keep me comfortably cool in the summer as well!
One final point (also mentioned in the video): because the nylon (cooling) side can be really slippery on fabric, I’ve found it useful to secure the corners to my comforter with safety pins. This is not at all a bother; in fact, the safety pins help me make my bed in a flash!
I think you’ll find this blanket to be well worth the money.

Very soft and breathable, but have to move to maintain coolness
I am really enjoying this blanket so far! My feet get really hot at night specifically when I don’t run the AC, which I rarely do, so this is a really good alternative to getting your bed wet to cool off. The only mild complaint I have is that in order to keep cool you have to keep moving the blanket around. It’s extremely slippery material, so it’s very easy to move around which is nice. I would say I get a solid 2 seconds of true cooling effect prior to me needing to move, and if your intention is just to keep cool before you fall asleep like my intention is, I would highly recommend this! Specifically if you dislike paying for a little extra AC during these hot summer months!

Great
Great item, very lightweight very soft. We have purchased cooling sheets, cooling pillows and other cooling blankets, this is by far is the best cooling item we have bought, definitely will be buying more

True to cooling
Has a side that is more cool feeling than other. Both sides are soft. Lightweight. Best cooling blanket I’ve found that is true to it self.

Cool for about a month then its just a thin blanket
I was looking strictly for a cooling blanket to sleep with and help me sleep better by possibly keeping me cooler throughout the night. I’m a lil overweight and hot and sweaty at night. I don’t sleep under comforters or sheets, usually i buy a thin blanket and cover myself unless i’m too hot. 70 degree or higher and i can sweat or feel hot. i sleep with this blanket by itself not extra sheet or anything.
Aspects of using the blanket i feel are general ‘Pros’ for owning the blanket:
1. Lightweight & Thin: I don’t know why anybody says this is heavy. I stuck this in my personal bag for a plane trip and it rolled into a small tube and was not really that much heavier before or after putting into my bag or pulling it out. Because it was super lightweight and thin it was easy to fold up into a giant napkin and stuff in my bag easily (was only an inch thick maybe)
2.At first , Cold to the touch: The 4 degree temperature cooling to the touch definitely was there and worked. (Granted that cold feeling only last a few seconds or minutes.) After awhile its just a blanket and not super cold but its nice for the first couple minutes.
3. Long term Cooling: i would say the cooling factor overall, outside the initial cold feel, was normal or usual for a cool blanket like a ‘cool bamboo’ blanket. The thinness of the material i think helps it not be too heavy and heat capturing. (it is 2 blankets together but still not too heat capturing) but i also don’t feel it was that cold throughout the night. sometimes woke up feeling a lil warm or just comfortable enough. definitely works better with the fan on and feels more comfortable for me temperature wise.
4. Washing and drying: Pro & Con.
4W: Washing wasn’t an issue but a lil inconvenient. in my country with 10 year old washing machine, i press a cold wash button and i use cold compatible liquid detergent and maybe a lil extra oxy or borax or soda wash. no issue at all with the washing. not sure why anybody has that problem except 3rd world countries that have to scrub their clothing and fabrics at the river with bar soap & rocks. This will not survive that.
4D: As for drying, all they said about the dryer is the heat would mess it up. So yes its inconvenient, but I hung it on curtain shower rod in the bathroom and brought 2 fans in and blow air. dried within the couple hours at the most. Not sure how long it took, I was working and 3 or 4 hours later went to the bathroom and it was dry. the only “pain” was the dripping wet. At first you need to stretch it across chairs in a wet proof tile floor or in bathtub shower rod or something.
SIDE NOTE and TIP: No One has mentioned putting a fan or 2 to this. I’m no physicist but come on people a fan blowing room temperature air will make the moisture evaporate and dry faster without heat. like when water pipes bust and get a wall wet, we all know to open up the wall and blow a fan into it for the day to dry it out faster. Seriously, i read that somebody said it takes 2 days to dry. i hope he reads this and i dunno … good luck dude. but seriously $10 box fan or something anything will help.
5. soft feel: the plastic satin smooth side doesn’t bother me i was okay with it and the other side was almost like a jersey shirt soft material. its actually very moderately comfortable when cold and that warm side is better than not a blanket. my wife is very cold and loves it for light weight and just a lil warmth like on a plane or something.
CONS:
Here are aspects and effects of the blanket i feel are straight up Cons or more on the Con side
1. Feel/Softness – Honestly i wouldn’t care about the silky satin plasticky side. Yes its slippery but its cold. I never had this “end up on the floor” due to extreme slipperiness. but thought to let you know one side is like nylon smooth almost plastic or wax cookie sheet slippery. but never slid off the bed or anything like that.
The main reason i put the Feel of the blanket in Con is because something in the silky side friggin tears /rips up my cuticles and finger skin around my nails. First night this happened and had a few pulls on my fingers and had strips of skin that kinda hurt. I wasn’t sure it was the blanket or not or if my skin nails were bad that week but they never fully healed always had new skin tears on my cuticles. realized it was the blanket from reviews (and not sleeping with it for 2 days and my fingers healed up.) i wasn’t bleeding profusely or anything close to that but man that was irritating.
2. Cold Touch Durability: after about a month the cold touch stopped working and the blanket had some pilling. Now the last couple weeks the blanket is just another blanket about the same coolness as a thin sheet give or take cold side or not. occasionally I’ll get a blip of the cold feeling but not even close to the icey feeling before.
3. Long term “coldness” factor: not cooling all night long without moving air. So is it really the blanket working better with the fan at absorbing and dissipating heat or is it just the fan cooling me off. i dunno. but i wake up a lil above comfortable or mildly warm half the time. so throwing this in both con and pro section. Con side for those times i’m warmer than i want to be but will agree those times are usually when i had little to no air circulation. so to me, and thermodynamics, it makes sense doesn’t bother me too much.
On side note: definitely notice the difference with fan on high on me, or just a lil air moving in the room, or no air. Still feel like this is a lil cooler than thicker blankets (or my coldest blanket overall) and 99% of my blankets are thicker than this so i still will use this over anything else i have. but it could be the placebo effect cuz i’m thinking the blanket is thin and breathable and wicking heat away.
4. Pilling. Didn’t think it would pill so soon but not surprised. oh well.
5. Movement and Size: I got the Full Size bed one but i’m only 5ft 6″ and my movements will bunch up the blanket and pull the blanket up off my feet. it doesn’t bother me too much, i’m so used to being hot that exposing my feet to moving air actually helps cool me off and i’m comfortable, but i can see where this would irritate others.
also, not sure if these are for the sizes they say they are, and due to lightness they bunch up soemtimes and i’ve woken up a few times barely half covered. this happens with regular blankets too but i’m thinkin possibly more with this due to light weight, plus the bunchiness, AND the size isn’t a true FULL bed length and width. not gonna lie i’m so lazy i haven’t actually measured and checked it myself but feels barely bigger than a twin and not long enough and i’m not tall at 5’6″
6. Price: i’m ok with the price if that cool feeling lasted more than a month but after reading some more honest and reasonably sensible reviews like a lot of 3 stars, i realized i’m not the only one. One poor chap who medically needs cool buys a new one every 2-3 months. I think most are like that and that sucks. So these are probably only worth $10 for us who need coolness factor but expect this to be like a think blanket sheet after a month to 3month.
7. the drying instructions: since the coolness factor doesn’t last long i’m not really sure its worth the hassle for some to dry in bathtubs and chairs etc. maybe can dry on cool air with no heat will hurt it aside but i’m gonna do that next wash on this and try. but don’t do that if you want to possibly return cuz this will eventually warm up or be irritating for some.
Overall: Its a nice soft thin blanket thats cooler than most especially under a fan … well “soft” on the cottony side. i still feel like this blanket is cooler than most due to lightness of material and possibly dissipating heat/wicking heat away better with a fan.

This blanket is awesome! Works well
This blanket is so awesome I bought 2 more. 1 for a gift and one for camping. It really helps keep me cool at night. The cotton side is great when it’s cold but you don’t want to be hot and the nylon is so nice and cool. Only complaint I bought a king size and they send regular size pillow cases (I also have king size pillows) but very happy with the blanket

Great blanket for warm sleepers
This blanket stays cool for a long time. It has a great texture, very soft. I really like this blanket.

It cools you off very quickly. It is also really nice and thin. It is a tiny bit heavy but I like that because it kind of doubles as a weighted blanket. Also very big and soft!

Feels like I’m wearing nothing at all, nothing at all, nothing at all!

Demasiado reducida. Pedir una medida más grande de lo habitual.
