It’s a t-shirt and not a light weight sweater as I understood from the website and when I got it I was disappointed.

Seems see-through, but you can’t tell with the right undergarment.
Plain, white turtlenecks are such good basics for layering under any outfit, whether you want it to show, have the collar just peek through underneath a sweater, or add extra warmth. This item was a bit worrisome because if you press it up against your fingers, it does appear as though it will be very see-through. However, with a light beige bra underneath the white color, it is nearly impossible to tell. It is comfortable and chic.

Great basic top for layering
I love to have basic pieces Iike this on hand for layering and warmth in colder months. What I like about this is that it’s not so thick that it’s bulky or uncomfortable under a sweater. It’s moderately thin and stretchy. However, it is a FITTED style. So I suggest sizing up if you plan to wear this alone and are concerned about rolls and what-not being accentuated, Or if you don’t like the feeling of tight fitting clothes.

Finally, a simple mock turtleneck that isnât meant to be oversized in shape or by design – this one is âslim fitâ and the long sleeves can quickly roll up when it gets too warm or just to add some style. My wife is fixated on (ALMOST) all-things turtleneck. Iâm not sure if it is the inherent warmth in the design of a turtleneck or just the utility of a turtleneck: it keeps you warm and when it gets really chilly you can extend it beyond that turtle âneckâ. Iâm surprised he likes the âslim fitâ, she generally prefers slightly oversized.
