I am the insulation samurai!!!
Cheap little knife, has stayed sharp through most of an insulation job. When it started to dull, a couple passes on the FLAT side of the knife on the stone, brought it back to razor sharp. It is a serrated knife with a sheath, decent price, works, does eventually dull, but gets sharp easily. No cons

Durable
I’ve used this knife for a few months now and it still stabs into metal like butter. The blade is huge and makes it really easy to cut insulation. Sheth is good quality too, you can slip it around your belt. It’s definitely worth the money, I got several of my coworkers to buy one too.

A Tool You Didn’t Know You Needed!
I am really stoked about this product. I am building out a 850sf room and we are installing a ton of insulation. We are using Rockwool R23 for sound reduction over spray insulation. A bit over the top but it will be a nice pole building! The insulation is thick. I tried cutting it with typical shop blades and scissors but was never satisfied with the look of the result. I saw one of these knives being used on a home improvement show and searched for one. There are cheaper options no doubt. However, I read some reviews and really wanted something quality over cheap. I chose this and couldn’t be happier. The tool is very well made and has an awesome sheath. The blade is thick enough to feel substantial while still being feather lite. The cuts are perfect! I have a bunch of tools but this is my new favorite.
