Much more effective than I expected!
I live in the woods. Gnats have been awful this spring. I sprayed my entire property with commercial grade insecticide, but it doesn’t work well for gnats.
So I got these zappers out of desperation. I had read that they mostly kill non-biting insects. I have found that to be false. Every morning, when I empty my zappers, I find what appears to be thousands(!) of dead gnats, along with a few moths and beetles. After three nights, there are very few gnats flying around.

Works great – maybe too great?
I’ve on;y had this zapper for a few days, but so far it has eliminated anything that dares come near to it. It actually works a little too well. Set up is a breeze – just take it out of the box & plug it in – no assembly. Within 1 minute of plugging it in it claimed its first victim. several more followed in the next few minutes. Not sure if theiy’re mosquitoes or just random flying insects, but it doesn’t discriminate. I was pretty happy until a larger bug got caught up & the zapping was merciless, not to mention the smell of burnt bug! A couple days later I was sitting out, plugged it in, and it zapped so many bugs I had to unplug it because the smell was so bad! I’m going to try moving it a little further away on the porch to try to avoid the smell. Just hope the mosquitoes are curious to get close enough to it – anything to keep them away from me!

This devise is doing way more than I could of hoped for!
I got it for the mosquitoes, which I’m not sure they are being zapped, I am mostly seeing moths when I clean out the tray. but the little mosquitoes probably get fried right up! The unit makes a zapping sound when something goes in, which is kind of cool and a little bit disconcerting! But I like it, because it seems to be getting rid of the mice problem, I have had for some time! So I am thrilled to finally not have those varmints coming on my back porch at night. I tried so many things to get rid of them! So happy I don’t have to clean up mouse poop off the back porch any more !

It works
It works, good price, not a heavy duty bug wacker, but does the job and price was right for someone who does not use it every day. Would recommend.

Quedé sorprendido por su potencia; a veces, los insectos literalmente explotan, lo cual resulta en una experiencia gratificante. Deben tener en cuenta que este efecto dejará pedazos de insectos destrozados alrededor, pero esto es en realidad parte de la diversión y no lo considero un aspecto negativo en absoluto.
