Good enough for me to watch more than once!
A fun, obvious low budget movie that I thoroughly enjoyed. My best friend and I laugh at anything that some wouldn’t even bother to laugh at, so it was somewhat humorous to me. But, if you look for literal funny moments, you may not be pleased. I’d say at least, the storyline is something we’ve all seen already with the obvious cliches but honestly, although it has some flaws, I really do like this movie and would watch again.

Storyline is Smash… The Filim is a crash.
I highly enjoyed the content of the storyline. How it communicated to screen, was very hurtful to the eyes. The portrayal of the drag-queens was the worse thing I ever have seen at any drag bar. The final drag competition performance was haphazard and the heroine looked at though he was constipated and his makeup was AWFUL. I have dated a drag queen and no group of queens would have ever pushed something like at their place of employment. No matter how straight the man is supposed to be. Please seek expert consultation next time. Redo the storyline but throw the present movie content out. I did like the in love drag queen performance.Nephillim

Good Intentions
While some have complained that the movie was too slow, I think that it should have covered more time. The most unbelievable issue was that this all took place in one week. I liked the basic story, I just think it would have played better not if the movie was longer but that the time it portrayed was longer. As for the comments that these impersonators were not professional enough, then I say you have not been out in the real world and seen any of the shows which play around the country. Most of the impersonators are trying to look good, and often they look like they are trying. The perfectly polished exist on RuPaul, but not so much in real life.The movie is rough around the edges, the dialog and acting is awkward in places, the costumes and players are not perfect and yet the movie was enjoyable. And it ends on a positive note. I am so very tired of gay themed movies where no one is happy at the end of the story. Even with the flaws, this movie leaves you smiling.
