ibuypower Trace 7 (Gaming PC) On Mar 9, 2024I bought this computer knowing that it’s not the best but worth somewhat of the money. A few problems that I have found with this set up.Cons:Is that the 1 TB ssd that was installed with the OS (Operating System) Windows 11, the mounting screw is cross threaded, It’s also been stripped out so removal is going to be a pain. The add states that 16GBs (x2 8GB) sticks of DDR4 3200mhz where added when in fact that is a bullfaced lie. When opening the BIOS both sticks register as DDR4 2400mhz 8GB Sticks. The Motherboard is made by Asrock, which when building on a budget is fine, but the ASRPolyChromeRGB program states: That there is no controller avalible and will not run in both normal or administator. Which in short it should control the RGB: Fans, Ram sticks. You have to go into the BIOS to change the colors by restarting and pressing F11. Figured I would be saving money, But in all reality. I am now gonna have to spend more just to fix these issues. I did add another 4TB to the secondary slot of M.2 on the board, as most games do use more then 25GBs like take for instance Destiny 2 is sitting at 181 Gbs, I am pretty positive that I can not put my full steam library of games on the 1Tb OS M.2 and 4TB m.2 that I added. RTX3050 6bg good for gaming: No, not at all. While capable of running games in decent settings, the RTX 3050 is a budget-friendly card aimed at casual gamers who don’t need the latest and greatest technology for their systems. As of 2024, it is still making rounds in the market and finding its place in decent budget builds.Pros:I do prefer Ryzen 7 over Intel i5. The case can hold up to 4 Sata 3 under the motherboard and has 2 slots for 3.5 HDDs, wiring looks nice out of the box, it’s decent. I have seen worse.Currently installed:Asrock B550 MotherboardAsus RTX 3050 6GB GDDR5Kingston Fury DDR4 (x2) 8GB 2400 mhz not 3200 mhz like what the add states.Kingston Fury DDR4 3200 mhz (x2) 16GBKingston 1 TB M.2 SSD with Windows 11 Home 22H2TeamGroup 4TB MP44 M.2 SSDSeagate IronWolf 8TB Internal 3.5″ 7200 rpm
