Very soft and comfortable These are so soft and comfortable.I love that there are pockets. I love the length of the skirt.I just wish the shorts underneath came with an option of being slightly longer for those of us who prefer that.
Not very modest This skirt has an odd fit and I wouldn’t describe it as modest. I’m a size 16 and I’m 5’2″ and the slit comes up quite high on my thigh. This isn’t something I mind because I didn’t purchase it specifically for modesty purposes, but I feel that the description doesn’t fit the actual product I received. I actually do like the skirt overall and I know I’ll wear it. I like the built-in shorts, but keep in mind that the shorts being built in prevents you from reasonably pulling the skirt down to provide more coverage on the legs if the slit is bothersome to you.Overall, it’s okay for me and it will be functional for summer athletic activities, but it’s not going to be for everyone. I ordered the XXL because I have wide hips and I feel any smaller would not have been flattering on my figure (too clingy).
I feel and look fabulous in this, feminine and fun 3X 5’9″ I love a full skirt I’ll usually wear a petticoat and sweat all day miserably. The adjustable pull string hem in the front gives that familiar shape that flatters, the material is like butter, it goes with everything. I’m going to style my look around it and my closet with complimenting additions
So comfy This skirt is so comfortable. Its stylish yet comfortable. The material feels like its good quality. I love them hem, the pockets and fit. I recommend it!
I love Jack Smith apparel, but…. First, this is the 2nd Jack Smith skorts that I have purchased. I loved the first one so much, I thought I would give this a try.To be honest, I’m just not in love with it and I am having a hard time saying why……butThe grayish color I got is kinda weird. I am having a hard time finding anything to match the gray. I guess I will wear a solid complimented color. The other thing I am not crazy about is the drawsting that shortens one side. I thought I would be attractive, but to me it just doesn’t do much. The string looks strange hanging and even when I tie it into a bow, it still looks odd.I also don’t think it is very flattering.I won’t give up on their apparel, just not crazy about this style.
Slit is high, super static-y (Written by Mark’s wife):For a skirt that is modestly knee length, you don’t expect there to be a slit to within a couple inches of your crotch. The inner shorts are much shorter than those in other similar skorts, and the slit is even higher than the bottom of the shorts. In the picture, I have it pulled down as low as it can go, and have yanked it as low as possible, but this is higher than I wanted. And it was super static-y! Totally clingy. It is an athletic material, so that’s to be expected to a certain degree, but this did nothing to hide my problem areas, instead, it clung to them in an unattractive way. I even set it aside and tried it on a few hours later to see if I was imagining how bad the cling was – nope, it was worse that time!I was really looking forward to this skort, and planned on wearing it often this summer. But nope. I tried it on, and it went straight to the donate pile.
