Adorable and flattering dress This is such a cute dress and wish they had more color options. It takes me from the golf course to brunch in style. The flutter sleeves are almost like having sleeves vs how it looks in the pictures which I prefer to cover up some of my arms.
Stylish Dress Hindered by Unwanted Slit As a 40-year-old mother, I’m always on the lookout for versatile clothing pieces that can seamlessly transition from one activity to another. When I came across this dress, I was hopeful that it would fit the bill. Unfortunately, while the dress boasts many positive attributes, one glaring flaw significantly diminishes its overall appeal. Let’s start with the positives. The dress is constructed from comfortable material and is undeniably flattering, especially around the midsectionâa feature I greatly appreciate. Additionally, the design is chic and functions as a golf or tennis dress. There are pockets in the dress and in the shorts that come with the dress, both are essential for whatever reason you are wearing the dress. All dresses should come with pockets! However, the presence of a slit in the dress is where things take a turn for the worse. At first glance, the slit seems innocuous, which is why I went ahead and ordered the dress, but its impact on the dress’s versatility cannot be overstated. For someone like me, the slit restricts the usability of the dress. I don’t have time to change my clothes after every activity. I get dressed one time, maybe twice a day. I need my clothes to function in as many scenarios as possible. The slit relegates the garment to specific activities like playing tennis or golf. While I know that is the purpose for the dress, I find it disappointing that is the only purpose for the dress. Furthermore, the visibility of shorts underneath the dress adds to the frustration. If the slit were not there, I could wear this to the office, as a little black dress on a date, around the house, walking, on top of tennis and golf. I would feel confident and comfortable in it in just about every scenario. Unfortunately, this is really only appropriate for tennis and golf. If you want to try to make it more versatile, I recommend sizing up so that the slit doesn’t show the shorts and, perhaps, you can get more use out of it. In essence, this dress falls short of its potential due to the ill-advised slit. Without it, the garment could have been a wardrobe staple, suitable for a variety of occasions. Perhaps extending the length of the dress would mitigate the issue, allowing for greater versatility and comfort.
Especially FLATTERING for Women with Narrow shoulders I wear a small or medium depending on how an item is made. Iâm 5â5â 123 lbs. I think I could have gotten a small in this, but Iâm happy with the medium. Itâs roomy. Rich navy blue color. This dress looks great with white sandals and white pearls or casual with white tennis shoes. I prefer to wear biker shorts with dresses in the summer – so the shorts with pockets that came with this dress are perfect. The pockets on the dress are deep (see photo). The shorts are a thin fabric. The ruffles add a little something (similar to shoulder pads would in a jacket) to my narrow shoulders. Quick drying. I didnât get this to wear as a tennis dress. I got this to wear as a summer dress and on vacation.
Athletic Wear for Comfort This is one of the most comfortable athletic wear sets I have every tried. I absolutely love the pocketed shorts…I am a pocket addict. From dresses to gowns to shorts…anything I wear needs pockets! It’s also very stylish with the little side slit. The fabric is very comfortable against the skin. It is breathable and stretchy and fits the body well to allow for a comfortable workout. It isn’t itchy. Very stylish and cute.
So cute! This workout dress is so cute. The ruffles on the sleeves and the little slit on the skirt make it different from every other athletic dress out there. The material is stretchy and a typical workout material. The only negative for this is that there aren’t built-in shorts like a lot of athletic dresses have, but this can easily be fixed by just wearing your own little pair of spandex shorts underneath. It could be nipped in more at the waist to make it more flattering. I will probably wear this both as an exercise dress but also as a going out into the world dress because it is so cute.
This stress is nice but a little too thick for summertime. This dress is nice and I love the fact that it’s made super well and with very dirty stitching as well as fabric. I shouldn’t have ordered the size that I ordered either a large would have fit me just fine. I wasn’t sure because some things run small some things run larger and I didn’t see anything to tell me any different. I love the ruffles on the arms great length. It’s a little too thick for my liking especially for something that I would be wearing when it’s warmer outside. And the dress does do a good job of covering up any physical imperfections. It’s made of a very comfortable and faithemlightweight material and it does a great job of hiding my tummy. And I love the pockets that it has! They’re a good size and nothing falls out of them whenever I sit down or bend over. This outfit does a good job of staying put and doesn’t write up or cause me to have to constantly adjust myself to be comfortable. And I love love wearing dresses even when I’m getting exercise!
