TOP-EX L/XL/XXL UV50+ Waterproof Wide Brim Sun Hat w/Breathable Vented Mesh Comfortable and lightweight hat. Time will tell how it holds up after several washings.
Exactly what I wanted The hat is lightweight, vented and a detachable strap. The detachable strap was a nice surprise. The glasses holder worked well. Overall a good value. Would buy again if needed.
Great light-weight hat for outdoor use. My original intention was to use this hat when fishing because it will fold down to almost nothing and is easily stashed in my tackle kit. We are inseparable. I use this whenever I’m outside. It is super light, well-vented, and provides excellent protection from the sun. Walking the dogs, mowing the lawn, working in the garden, and yes out on the boat for a morning of fishing. I highly recommend this product.
Lightweight and breathable I’ve struggled to find hats that fit comfortably due to my larger head size, but the XXL version of this hat exceeded my expectations. While it initially seemed too large, the adjustable elastic drawstring allowed me to customize the fit perfectly, offering both a tight or loose option. The hat itself is impeccably crafted with quality comparable to more expensive options. Despite arriving folded, which seemed odd, unfolding it revealed a well-made hat with a stylish gray color and sturdy canvas quick-dry fabric. The vented section at the rear ensures excellent air circulation, and the removable chin strap adds versatility. Overall, it’s a fantastic choice for outdoor activities like cruising or fishing in warmer weather.
lightweight and foldable hat. sizing runs big.. This hat arrived folded in quarters. Not sure why. I unfolded it and shook it out a few times and tried it on. First of all, the color is great. The gray color is just like the pictures in the Amazon add. It appears to be well made and I did not notice any frayed threads or bad seams. It has a thin chin strap that can be removed. The material is a good strong canvas quick dry fabric. There is a nice vented section in the rear of the hat to provide good air circulation. And it has snaps on either side so you can do your best crocodile Dundee impression. The sizing is a bit off to me and runs much larger than my other hats that are in size large. And I ordered the one that is for sizes medium/large. Other than the size issue I had this is a nice hat and would be great to take on your next cruise or go fishing when the weather is warmer..
Nice, big-brimmed sun beater I am an avid hiker / nature photographer in SE Florida. Our sunshine is so strong and rich, it’s a food group. Definitely in the summer – and even in the winter, you must protect your face and neck and ears from the harmful UV rays, or you WILL eventually develop cancer. And your face will get all old-looking and wrinkly, too. The Top-Ex is up to the challenge. It has a nice, wide brim to keep the sun off your face and ears – and goes a long way to eliminating our famed red necks – yes, our local descriptor is a description of our sunburned necks. Your whole head is actually protected by the vented SPF 50 material. But Florida is also known for its rain. These bucket hats are great for downpours. The brim sides can snap to the bucket, giving you a nice rain gutter that feeds the water down your back – but generally not down your collar. Rain stays off your face most of the time – a BIG factor in rainy hiking or fishing. This hat comes with a tightness adjuster in the back – loosen for hot humid stifling days, and tighten it up for our common windy days. It also has a chin strap for REALLY windy conditions. Bonus feature: there are little pockets on either side of the hat, designed to hold the arms of your sunglasses. See the pictures in their ad. I use that feature when I’m fishing – I put a strong pair of reading glasses up there for when I need to retie a lure, etc. BTW, I’ve had occasion to test this hat in hot, humid conditions. It handles the heat well. In extreme conditions, consider installing a self adhesive moisture absorbing liner in the brow. Life hack: a maxi-pad is ideal for this task. Keeps the sweat out of your eyes.

nice hat, wrong size
I always use hats during the summer since I am very sensitive to light. this is a nice summer hat but it was a little big for me.
