This is a Magsafe magnetic phone mount. I use magnet mounts in my semi truck. As you can see in the photos, mine have the Wix Gear magnets. This kit comes with a mount that has double sided tape to place where you want it. The mount has the 17mm ball to attach the magnetic head. The kit also includes an adapter to use with the Ram 1″ mount, which is what I prefer. Semi trucks get quite a shake on rough roads and these seem to hold the phone. I’ve yet to have one slide off the magnet. This Magsafe kit includes a ring to affix to the back of the phone to in case you aren’t using a Magsafe Phone case, which I do not. I use the rectangular metal piece that sticks to the back of the phone. I do have a Magsafe case at home that I can try to see how it works out. I have to say I like it.

I was very impressed with this MagSafe mount to attach my phone to a RAM mount 1” ball. This mount seems very sturdy and solid with a fantastic build quality. It forms a strong bond to the the phone case I use, and fits perfectly into my existing mounting bracket. Its range of adjustment is adequate, and allows me to set the phone in the exact position I need. I would highly recommend this if you are looking for a MagSafe mount for your 1” RAM mount setup.
