Should’ve been rated a 5 but…
I will start with the negative even though it’s not proper to do so as is said. I would have given this shirt a 5 were it not for the mistake by the manufacturer of sewing a small quarter inch tag on the outside of the shirt, which I had to carefully remove without cutting into the shirt. Not sure why or how that happened but it cost them a better rating. As for the shirt itself its very well made and comfortable. I usually wear a large as I am a bit muscular but I ordered a medium because of the stretchy material. Good choice, it fits perfectly. I first like to wash and wear garments first before giving a review, especially on a shirt like this with buttons. Reason being lower quality materials and craftsmanship will show quickly. So far the shirt has held its shape and the button holes didn’t lose their shape. Good buy

A bit on the small size.
Ordered my normal size for all my shirts, this is a little tight and a smaller than expected. It works, but only just.

I ordered this for my fiance for his birthday. It’s an amazing fabric a perfect fit. And I’ve put similar shirts that cost twice as much. This one is equal in every way quality fabric and fit. He’s 5’6 and 155 lbs I ordered the medium because he has broad shoulders. I love it on him I also ordered a similar one black and brown stripe

Cool, Retro Design
Made of 98% Viscose (similar to silk and rayon) and 2% Polyamide (nylon), this Moda Viva retro designed button-down is lightweight, attractive, and nicely designed. With vertical slightly see-through herringbone stripes and white trim along the sleeves, collar, pocket and front center, I’m certainly enjoying the vintage look and cool comfort the shirt provides.Aside from arriving a bit wrinkled, the shirt is also a bit form-fitting–as in snug–at least in my 2XL size. The nylon part of the fabric gives it just enough stretch to make the sizing work, but even with a small amount of stretch, the shirt tends to lose some of its shape. Most of this is noticeable as the white vertical stripes in the center end up looking a bit irregular. The fit is pretty good in the shoulders, but I wish the length of the shirt was about two inches longer. The quality of stitching is very good, the brown color is consistent and handsome, and the shirt appears to be made without any defects in manufacture, such as loose ends or sloppy seams. It is quality made, right down to the matching buttons.Due to the stretch, I would pause on a strong recommendation for those who have a bit of a gut or a “dadbod”, but to those who are height/weight proportionate, this is a cool looking shirt, with a flattering vibe that is bound to draw compliments. It’s a good value for the price.

Size Up
Probably could have sized up on this one… It’s very form fitting with my true to size size. The knitting is nice and the material is very soft. It’s a classy look overall that can be dressed up or down. The colors and look are accurate to the picture and description. I don’t think I’ll buy again but am happy enough with the product. Make sure you size up unless you want it to be form fitting!

Nice Shirt!
I like the simplicity of the shirt. Plus, it’s pretty versatile in terms of how you can wear it – fully buttoned, half buttoned, undershirt to look more casual. The quality is nice as well! The material is thick and soft. I usually wear an XL, but this specific shirt is a little bigger than I was hoping.
