Easy to use
Got this so I can show my granddaughter the stars. It mounted easily and alignment was simple. Also the frame is sturdy metal not cheap plastic!

The best camera mount i’ve used
This Tydeux phone mount is the 3rd phone mount I have used, and by every measurable metric, it is by far the best one, and 1/3 the price of another one I have. The clamp that goes around the eyepiece of your optic is all metal, but most importantly the design is such that there is zero obstruction between your phone’s camera and the lens. All other mounts i’ve used, you must get the phone tediously and impossibly lined up to a tiny little hole on the mount. This one is 100% wide open with nothing blocking the view. The clamp that holds the phone onto the mount is also all metal. Unlike the other mounts I have, which use spring tension to hold the phone on, which always makes me a little nervous with larger phones, this mount uses a thumb screw to clamp the phone. It is extremely secure and much easier to get on and off compared to the spring clamp style. It even opens up wide enough to hold my pixel 6 in its case. Now the thing I love the most, there are not one, but two tripod mount points. Neither of my other two mounts have any tripod mounting points. Not every device you have is going to have tripod mount, so it’s really just fantastic that you can connect this mount directly to a tripod all on its own.I tested it out for a while today with a monocular, and it is very easy to use. I’m looking forward to connecting it to the telescope next time I set it up.Being so inexpensive I didn’t have high expectations, but it truly is an excellent mount and worth every penny and more.

not worth the money
tried this with two phones and a monocular. The monocular and I-phones both provided good visuals. However, they could not work with this adapter. Images were very poor and the device was extremely hard to use.

Holds even Big Note 20 Ultra 5G 6.9 inch phone
Cut outs and adjustments are pretty good for lots of turns and angles for getting captures on telescopes ð I have refractor so phone will hang off of the eyepiece but has ample clamping support even when cold/damp outside do to dew or weather.

Great Mount
We have to review this product without including the phone use because our phones have multiple cameras and it would appear the phones believe themselves to be smarter than us and we canât select which camera we want to use. Itâs a solid build, and holds the phone very well to the eyepiece. Simple and straight forward to mount and use (if not for the phone), and if we could get it all to work Iâd say itâs a great value for the money because it performs great. The black looks good and doesnât contrast our telescope.

Metal, not plastic. Great for my spotting scope.
I’ve always wanted to try one of these, but never got around to it. The Tydeux camera adapter is an excellent addition to my spotting scope. Now, I can easily snap pictures of my target groupings. The adapter features thin rubber padding on all mounting surfaces, providing cushioning and preventing any scuffs on my camera and scope. Plus, it’s made of sturdy metal instead of plastic, so it promises long-lasting durability.Overall, this Tydeux adapter perfectly meets my needs. It offers great utility, functionality, and value for the price.
