Works well
Bought this for my elderly aunt, is light weight and easy for her to handle. Being able to work her arms is a plus, the large knob to add or subtract the extra tension is easy for her to turn, a good product.

Ease of Use.
Well built, it was easy to assemble the needed parts prior to use. One pedal uses Right Handed Threads and the other Left Handed Threads. This was done to prevent the Left Pedal from threading off during use, as the effect of using Left Handed Threads on the Left Pedal is that it would Tighten during normal use (the pedal tightens to the shaft it’s mounted on) like the Right Pedal naturally does, preventing it from threading off during use. I find it enjoyable to use, valuable exercise for otherwise idle legs, can be used for the arms as well, and I think it a good investment. The Digital Display goes through displaying various information concerning the use of the exerciser, I was amazed how many repetitions I had done (one repetition is, for example, starting with the Right Pedal extended, then the Left Pedal is extended, and when the Right Pedal returns to the original extended position, that was one complete cycle of the Pedals).

The good, the bad, and nice for the price.
This product provides good leg & feet exercise. I have it under my desk. There is one downside. My den is a wood floor. This product does not hold steady on the smooth floor, even with the mat under it. Mat came with the product in its packaging. It keeps on slipping. Now I place it against the desk to prevent movement. All that said, the product weight must be a concern if we make it too heavy to easily move. This should work just fine on carpetted floors.

You get what you pay for
Decent for the price but don’t expect a premium experience. The goodThe price is cheap and the time tracker when pedaling is accurate. The assembly is easy and takes minutes. It is easily portable if you need to move it around or bring it somewhere as it is lightweight. The badThe distance tracker is nowhere near accurate, according to the tracker after pedaling for 1 hour straight I hit “1km”The calorie tracker is flawed, obviously, it won’t be accurate when you can’t input your weight, height, etc.The machine is light and can slip around when pedaling but I haven’t found this to be much of an issue.

Nice little cycle.
I got this because my legs cramp up when I walk, most likely from sitting around and not moving, because my legs hurt. Vicious circle. I do 3 minute reps with this, because more than that, my knee hurts( I know, my legs and knees are a mess). I had DVT in my legs which ended up becoming a PE, which put me in the hospital. This is an easy way to keep you legs moving, and hopefully you will avoid those DVT blood clots in your legs, which could kill you! You can adjust the tension of the pedal resistance, to an easy pedal or set it heavy, as if you are riding your bike up a steep hill. The electronic timer, distance, and calorie display is very nice. This was very easy to assemble, but if you have trouble using a spoon, you may find it difficult to put together. I got this because it was reduced due to damage, but I cannot find a thing wrong with it. Retails at $43, I got mine for $21. Always check the damaged or reduced item column when searching Amazon, it has saved me so much money on “damaged” goods, yet I never find the damage. Thanks. Kem. 4/15/24

Not Stationary, Not Accurate, Not Exercise, Not Working
So when you get a product this cheap, you kind of have to expect to get what you pay for. The bike was advertised as a stationary bike that you can pedal under your desk or place on a desk to pedal with your arms to get a workout and, to be fair, it does do those things. The problem is that the bike does not make any of this easy. For one, the bike itself is incredibly light, which seems like a good thing initially until you start to pedal. Since it is so light, it is very easy for the entire bike to move around, making it harder to keep a consistent rhythm with your legs or your arms. In addition, the bike has no catch to carpet or the rubber pad provided to prevent it from moving around, so there isn’t really a way to fix the problem other than pushing it against a heavy object as you pedal and hoping for the best. The LCD is also a bit inaccurate in terms of calories burned as I believe that the amount of calories burned is consistent for anyone who uses the bike. While this may seem nice, I doubt that cycling on this for about 15 minutes without breaking a sweat means I’m burning 100 calories each time. Losing weight and burning calories is hard and having a bike with an inaccurate LCD is only going to do more harm than good as you won’t actually be able to keep track of how many calories you burn.To make matters worse, the bike has almost no resistance with the pedaling, which kind of defeats the purpose as an exercise bike. The idea is to have some resistance to engage your body and encourage energy use, but the lack of resistance means you would need to be pedaling for a very long time before you get to that point. If you do try to increase the tension on the bike, you either get no change or get too much resistance, which makes the bike more likely to move before the pedal itself. Worse yet is that if you can manage to move the pedal, a horrible squeak soon starts with every cycle and it will not go away until you stop and remove the tension. Finally, the reason why I give this a one-star review despite everything else listed above comes from the last time I used it, which was a 15 minute cycle with increased tension and the horrible squeak. Really trying to make this work, I pedaled on to get some resistance until I smelt burnt rubber. Removing the LCD let out a bunch of smoke from something burning in the bike, which I assume was from something melting into the cycle as it will no longer pedal now. While I’d like to assume I was shredding the bike to the point of falling apart, I had only been pedaling for 15 minutes and at a moderate pace. If that was enough to break this bike, then nothing else should convince you that this product just isn’t worth it.

Great for your parents
After full knee replacement we bought this for my father to use but now my mother uses it as well. So easy to put together and remind them to use while watching the news or doing their crossword puzzles.

Best workplace investment I’ve made
I recently started a new job that has me sitting at a desk for long portions of the day while my previous job had me on my feet and running. In the 4 months at the new job I’ve managed to put on a few more pounds than I really wanted so I picked up one of these little guys to go under my desk. And it’s been amazing. I’ve been active, it isn’t in the way, it’s quiet and it’s portable so I can bring it home on the weekends.
