Excellent Everyday Carry.
If you like Gadgets, you should get this one. I have had mine for more than a month, and it is perfect.
Specifically, I really like the look and feel of equipment that serves a specific purpose and is practical.
Before buying, I read through the entire product description and through many of the reviews. I always try to read through the 1-Star and 2-Star reviews first, to get an idea of what went wrong for others who made this purchase.
Here is what I have come to learn about the Mountain Voyage Minimalist Wallet:
This wallet is very durable and very handy. I would have to agree with the product description; Contemporary style with Elegant look and feel, Ultra-Slim & Light weight, Efficient, and Ideal for Everyday use. The money clip feature easily slides out (if you decide you donât want to use it).
I really like this new wallet. So⦠I bought one for my wife. She loves the simplicity of it and the fact that everything is handy. Much less compartmentalized than her previous wallet and less bulky, too. I also bought one for my son. And while he is still too young to be concerned about the âEveryday Carryâ he absolutely loves the look and feel of his new wallet.
These wallets are wonderful!
âHolds up to 15 Cardsâ.
Okay⦠although this statement makes for great advertising, it is just a bad idea. Sure, I can stuff 15 cards in this device, but⦠âWhy would I do that?â Iâm trying to minimize my Everyday Carry (not just my wallet).
For years, I have been carrying around a Big-Beefy-Burger-Style Leather Wallet just like my Dad.
âWhatâs in my Wallet?â:
1 Government-Issued Driverâs License, 1 Bank Debit Card, 1 Discover Card, 1 MasterCard, 2 VISA Cards, 1 Wholesale Club Membership Card, 1 Wholesale Club Credit Card, 1 Health Insurance Card, 1 Health Insurance Credit Card, 1 Library Card, 1 Movie Theater Club Card, and 2 or 3 or 4 of those flimsy In-Store-Credit⦠cards.
Okay, so thatâs already about 15 cards. And this doesnât even account for the paper money or all the little extras like pictures or lottery tickets. I was carrying around a lot of stuff. And to be honest, it was a lot of stuff that I rarely ever use.
However, I gave it a try. I stuffed this new wallet with all 15 cards⦠and then tried to pry out⦠just one card⦠from the middle. Nope, that did not work so well. Fortunately, I was at home, so all 15 cards just fell onto my table.
I had to take a moment to seriously consider, âhow many cards do I really need?â
I removed everything from my wallet. I set it all out on my table and asked, âwhat do I really need to carry in my pocket (on a daily basis)?â I quickly separated what I need from what I donât⦠and then continued to minimize from there.
The Answer: I only really need about 3 cards and some cash (not a lot):
My Driverâs License, My Debit Card, One Credit Card, and a few bills (for just-in-case).
As I reloaded my new wallet with these few cards, and folded a couple of $20s into my money clip, I remembered that the whole point of the Everyday Carry concept is to minimize the amount of stuff Iâm carrying around every day. And this wallet is a perfect solution. I have less to carry. And I havenât missed any of the extra stuff I use to carry around with me.
I highly recommend this wallet for anyone who is interested in carrying around less and being just as effective.
I donât necessarily recommend this wallet as a gift. This is simply because a wallet can be a deeply personal item. It is something that someone carries with them (almost) daily (sometimes for years). Make sure you âknow your audienceâ before you buy something like this.
I would also point out that, âyesâ, the straps are designed to hold cards tightly into place. This is by design. And because of this design, it should also be understood that getting cards out will require a measure of dexterity.
I donât have a review or recommendation for the wooden wallet or leather wallet options.
I hope this review helps you.
And I hope you have a Wonderful Day!

My husband loves this.
I bought this for my husbands birthday to replace his old leather one.
This is a front pocket wallet. It holds a decent amount of cards. The money clip is very durable and tight. The color is perfect and the entire thing is really nice and holds up to being dropped. I think itâs a great value for the money I spent.

Excellent wallet with some small issues
I wasn’t kidding myself when I bought this. It’s obviously a very close approximation of the more widely known brand that is much more expensive. I wasn’t expecting it to be as high quality but have been happily surprised by how good this is, with a few small exceptions. I got the natural walnut wood version, which I think looks great. The amount of cards it can hold in such a small form factor is impressive. The money clip holds bills very well, maybe even too tightly, although I assume it will loosen up with use.
That is one of the complaints I have with the other one being that the finish on the walnut faces is a little rough. I was hoping that it would have been sanded smooth with a better finish. The edge is a tad sharp, rather than being rounded off. I don’t think I’m going to get splinters, but you can tell that a minimum of effort was expended on the finish.

Saved My Butt!
After decades of carrying a thick leather wallet in my back pocket, I began having pain in my butt that was starting to spread down my leg. It affected me all of the time, even when not carrying my wallet. It was affecting my posture and overall health. That’s what prompted me to try something different.
I saw advertisements for many similar style minimalist wallets, but the style, quality, and cost of the Mountain Voyage made it seem like the best option for me. I am not disappointed.
My pain has mostly disappeared after about two weeks, but I also have a really cool looking wallet that doesn’t look like something my grandpa would carry around. This is the first time since I was ten years old that I’ve gotten excited enough about a wallet that I wanted to show it off to my friends (coworkers).
The look and quality of this wallet is sleek and solid. The gunmetal color is cool and masculine. I was worried about it getting scratched since now I carry it in my front pocket. I can see little signs it has gotten rubbed, but it looks like it’s part of the design.
It takes some time to adjust to the new design. For starters, cash is stored under the clip instead of inside like a traditional wallet. Considering how rarely I use cash, this hasn’t been an issue and doesn’t interrupt the function in any way. At first, it seems a little awkward to push your cards out like a fan to pull the one you’re looking for out, but it has become much easier over time. Sliding them back in is super quick due to a slight indention on the interior casing edge. This is a testament to the thought they put into the design of this high-quality product.
In conclusion, I wish I would have bought this sooner. My butt thanks me and when I whip it out it gives me street cred vs. the other middle-aged dudes with their old man wallets. There are other brands available that cost much more, but I’m very confident that the quality of this product would hold up to other comparable options. I highly suggest this wallet.

This is a great edc wallet. Itâs slim, durable, easy to adjust and easy to use wallet. I carry about 6-8 cards and have no problems it doesnât mess up the cards or losses up at all. Itâs a great color and is a lot cheaper than other brands.

This contemporary men’s wallet is perfect for all occasions, whether it’s for everyday use, vacations, work, or even when you want to dress to impress.
I appreciate this wallet’s slim design. It measures only 3.4 x 2.1 x 0.35 inches, making it incredibly lightweight and easy to carry. Despite its slim profile, it can hold up to 15 cards and 8 bills, eliminating the need for a bulky wallet. It fits seamlessly into my pockets, whether it’s my jeans, suit trousers, blazer, or even shorts.
The dominant feature of this wallet is its RFID-blocking technology. Knowing that my credit cards and personal information are protected, thanks to the RFID-blocking technology in this wallet, is reassuring in light of the increasing prevalence of identity theft. The state-of-the-art RFID blocking technology ensures that thieves cannot scan or access my sensitive data.
In terms of style, this card holder is a true gentleman’s accessory. The sleek army green colour, modern metallic elements, and practical money clip add a touch of sophistication to any outfit. It has plenty of room to fit all my necessary cash and cards, making it perfect for both business and casual occasions.
What sets this wallet apart from others is its construction. Made from quality aluminum with rustproof metal finishes, it is incredibly durable and scratch-resistant. I can tell that it is built to last for years. The brand has so much faith in the excellence of their design that they offer a 2-year limited warranty.
It is a minimalist and stylish wallet that offers both practicality and versatility. Whether you’re looking for a wallet for everyday use or special occasions, it’s the perfect choice. This wallet won’t disappoint you.
