Does exactly what you think it does for regular size Hydrow
This is a neoprene cover for the screen on a regular-sized Hydrow. It is not for the newer, and smaller Hydrow Wave.The neoprene cover is a simple, one piece cover with a single snap button on the lower back. The neoprene is soft, so as long as you keep the inside of the cover clean, it won’t scratch your screen. The back of the neoprene cover has a split up the middle. To put it on, you just open up the cover by pulling the split back apart and sliding it down on the screen. The split back allow you to wrap the cover around the central part of the screen that is anchored to the arm coming out of the rower. You snap it closed at the bottom with the single snap. Only takes 2-3 seconds to put on or take off.Due to the shape of the neoprene cover, the upper corners tend to stick up in a puffy way, off the corners of the screen. You have to shimmy it downward with a light amount of force to get the corners to fit snug around the corners of the screen. Not a big deal, but you want to make sure you’re not always tugging down on the screen each time you put the cover on.The neoprene cover does protect the screen. However, due to the split running down the back, it does kind of leave the central back part of the screen exposed and it can pick up some dust back there if its on for an extended period of time. However, given the way the screen is fixed to the Hydrow, I don’t see an easy, better solution. It’s just a downside of the design to accommodate the Hydrow’s design.I think the Hydrow is the most fun piece of personal exercise equipment that I’ve ever used. But even so, like any piece of exercise equipment, you might have stretches where you don’t use it. This neoprene cover is perfect for those times and will protect your screen and block dust from accumulating on it. However, it’s a quick on and off that it can be used daily as well. A winning inexpensive add-on to protect your pricey Hydrow investment.
