New Balance Men’s 410 V7 Trail Running Shoe

Great shoes…in the jankiest packaging ever!!
The Shoes:I previously ordered these shoes in my regular size 16. Unfortunately, they fit like a size 15. I ordered them again in a 16 wide and they fit great. Very comfortable. I’d definitely buy them again!The Packaging:It was so bad I had to laugh. It seemed like a prank. This was the most negligent product packaging that I’ve ever received from any business in my entire life. Inside the shipping bag was an unlabeled box completely covered in packing tape, inside that box was a tattered and stained shoe box with no lid. The partial shoe box was sloppily wrapped in bubble wrap and paper. It looked as if it was recovered from a dumpster on skid row. The shoes looked better than the packaging so it’s not that big of a deal, but when you spend $100 on a pair of sneakers the least they can do is NOT ship it in recycled waste.

Not great, but pretty good. You don’t get perfection at this price.
I’m a field service tech who currently performs a lot of commercial fire alarm inspections. I generally walk 4 to 6 miles a day, mostly indoors, up and down stairs, ladders, carpet and hard floors, etc, but I do some exterior work as well. An all purpose shoe is a necessity for me, and I have had great luck with the N.I bought some Asics at a comparable price point, but they were too small and uncomfortable, and I needed another shoe ASAP. Despite a handful of negative reviews, I gave these a shot.Out of the box, they were immediately more comfortable and better fitting than the Asics, but maybe not as good as some past New balance shoes. I wore these to work and logged some 7.4 miles (per Google Fit, fwiw). Today, another 6 miles, with far too many steps and ladders.Fit and comfort depend on a lot of factors. I don’t know what you thought of your previous shoes, or how you like them to fit, but I have had a lot of New Balance shoes, and I rate these solidly middle of the pack. You don’t get perfect shoes at this price point. You just don’t. That being said, I’m fairly pleased with these. Decent grip, decent comfort, they look nice, and they’re cheap enough that I won’t feel bad when I wear them out.

Great show, great fit, but don’t last super long
I do like these shoes but I’m a new balance nut. They make good shoes for large feet. This is my second pair and I bought them because I knew what I was getting into and the price was right. However, I don’t think they lasted me super long. I don’t think I wore them more than maybe 9 months and they definitely were not worn daily, at least in the beginning. I would recommend these shoes.

Worst. Laces. Ever.
The shoes themselves are comfortable and well built and have lasted longer than cheaper brands, as they should.The laces were designed with zero thought for functionality and 100% for aesthetics. There is no padding or extra external grip to keep them tied. Pulling them tight is akin to pulling a staw from the rapper–the lace keeps sliding through the loop and never compresses and holds tight. They are also too short unless you remove them from the top eyelet, so you can’t really double knot them. The laces are loose within hours of tying them as tight as possible. As someone who leaves their shoes tied and slips them on, I’m lucky to get two days between tying each shoe. I won’t buy any shoes with similar laces after this.After 7 months, wearing 2-3 times a week, the tops around the ankles have holes on every side. To be clear, I walk to work in these and sit at a desk. Most of that time I was wearing shorts, so it’s not like my pant cuffs were rubbing them. The material is quite thin. The construction and ability to hold my foot steady hasn’t worn down yet though.

 Los pedí para un regalo y llegaron en una caja que no era la de NB pero, es porque la original se maltrato. Agradezco este detalle porque al ser para regalo si necesitaba que se viera bien la caja. A la persona le gustaron, el usa este modelo y dijo que estos eran más cómodos. Hay que cazarlos en precio porque un día después de pedirlos habían subido de precio.
