Gorgeous!! But KNOW your body type, and ladies HELP EACH OTHER OUT!!!
I have been searching high & low for an ankle length layered skirt to wear over a petticoat for my steampunk themed wedding coming up in a few weeks and came up empty. 2 diff skirts were “lost in the shipping process” and never arrived (tracking showed they never even left the starting point) then there were tons of ones on Amazon that weren’t Prime. Also, I had just ordered an outfit for my daughter thad said Prime but that was 3 weeks ago & the order says will arrive possibly by December 18 (nearly a month after our 11/30 wedding so be super leary of these. And finally there were Amazon reviews by the thousands you read, scrolling & scrolling, pic after pic, hoping ONE WOMAN would be your same size & shape and let you know what size to get! This process was exhausting!! Finally I just found this one. Only read a few reviews, none that helped much but out of time, I hit the order tab & held my breath!!! Well it arrived today and I have some HELPFUL HINTS for shoppers who are somewhat in my same boat or maybe rowing in similar waters. Ladies we simply MUST stick together and help each other out in reviews. It can make a world of difference!! So here goes: this is a GORGEOUS skirt!! I tried it on barefoot and it drags the floor. I ordered the 105 length one. Since I am wearing a petticoat under, and planning on hiking up one side for my steampunk wedding look, not wearing heels, it will touch the tops of my boots. I started out in my teens and onward 5’8 tall (at 48 yrs old & some shrinkage due to irl bone density loss that comes w/age) I’d say 5’7 & 3/4″ is accurate. Now THIS SKIRT doesn’t come in traditional S M L XL 1X etc. It only comes in skirt length which as any woman with even a scintilla of menopause weight gain will tell you, a one size fits all is 99.990001% good bet a O.S.F.A. will never fit. This skirt is the exception. I winged it b/c I was tired and ready to wear my petticoat already purchased from another Amazon seller as just my outer skirt but no need. This skirt isn’t super thin & flimsy. It is not see thru like your average cheaply made Halloween costume. I could wear this to the office with tights or hose underneath and feel good about it! It has nice layers and is perfect for daily wear but more so perfect for all the steampunk, pirate, bar wench, cosplay, Renaissancers out there. I thought it was going to be satin but it’s a nice flowy cotton blend to me.
Here is my warning…..this did fit quite well. However if I weighed about 10 lb, it wouldn’t have. It is just snug enough so as not to hang but if I were wearing this constantly as part of my every day wardrobe, I’d probably split the waist just a skift & sew in a cheater panel (waist extender). Here is where you NEED TO KNOW from your fellow ladies out there reviewing, what their body shape is. Again I am about 5’8, and I weigh about 188 lb but the majority of my weight is simply in “belly fat”. Yes I have one of those dreaded poochy stomachs! That is why it was snug. My legs are skinny, my backside is not wide, nor are my hips. 90% of my overweight body is my belly! So I would say if you weigh around what I do or more and you have a larger protruding belly, this might not be the skirt for you. If I had wide hips or rear, I do not believe it would have fit up over my outter thighs.
So ladies please please, when reviewing clothing, please help your sister gender by detailing your body shape! Trust me, it helps! I hope this review has been helpful (sorry for the length!!). I will post pics after I wear it to let you know how it held up. I will break my normally icky germaphobia and NOT wash before wearing because if it shrinks, I’m getting married in a petticoat and my underbritches!!!

Fit great
The fabric is nice, it’s stretchy and feels super comfy while on. I got it to wear to a ren faire I was working and it was great. Not sheer, it’s flowy, and super lightweight.

My favorite skirt
I have this in three colors now- black, rust red, and off white. Pictured is the off white, which is nice sandy/light khaki color. Ordered my normal size, fit is perfect.
These are very nice, light weight skirts. Elastic waist band fits well, stays up but isn’t tight. I typically wear it at my hips as pictured, but have also worn them at my waist line and both are comfortable. They are thin, but do have shorter under layer and I’ve never had any issues with panty lines/show through/etc. Length is perfect, which is a major plus for me because I’m used to everything being too long.
For reference, I am 5’1”, around 110-115 pounds. Ordered small.

Pretty good!
The fabric is thin, but it’s light and airy. Perfect for summer. It has a liner, but it’s very short and seems kind of useless.
I’m 5’8″ and 200lbs. I’m pear shape and the skirt wouldn’t fit over my hips. I out it on over my head and it fit nicely on my waist.
Hopefully it doesn’t shrink in the wash. I’m looking forward to wearing it.

Factastic!
Favorite skirt Iâve ever owned! Delightful to wear. Light and flowy, perfect length and fit, beautiful color. For reference, I bought light green in small and am 5â4â with a 28.5â waist

Beautiful and light; bit tight in the waist
Size Large. I have been searching for skirts that a first and foremost comfortable, then flattering, then light for cool wearing in the hot months. This skirt checks all of those boxes. At 5’2″ 180 lbs the waist is a tiny bit tight and needs to sit up closer to my bust for it to fall just below my ankles. I may try to hem it. I tried the XL and it is overall more comfortable however even longer….

Very full skirt
Very nice full circle skirt, very soft with attached slip. Runs a little small. Washed well. Ankle length for me (5’7″) which was perfect.

Elegant skirt
Depending on the designer, I can wear a M or L in skirts, shorts, and pants. I’m 5’8″ and 143 lbs. This skirt was a little snug in the waist. I am returning for a size L. I have long legs, and this skirt comes right to my ankle.
-Waistband does not have enough give
-Beautiful layers of fabric
-Not see through! Yeah!

It flows when you walk, the colour is exactly as shown and the forgiving waistband is a skirt you can wear anywhere. Itâs beautiful.

Unless you have a really small waist like Barbie this skirt could be a problem. I purchased a large. I weigh 140 lb and am 5â7â. It was wayyyyy to small at the waist

Very nice. Material has a nice soft feel. Seems to be reasonably well made. Good value. It is quite long though – not a problem for me but for other people it may be.
