Secure Grip & Never Fall Off: The phone mount for car is…
Customers say
Customers like the ease of use, value, quality and performance of the portable electronic device mount. They mention that it’s very easy to install and use, works well for the money and that it holds up well. Some are happy with ease of clipping, and appearance. That said, opinions are mixed on stability and adjustability.

Pretty good really – zero issues
It does vertical only (like all the others – just makes me sad). Easy to install and very sturdy. Articulates well and holds it’s orientation – and the rubber bumpers on the holder (which others’ often down have) are a nice plus. Couldn’t be happier. One note – there are a couple of holders that have an arm connection to the base that means the actual phone holder is an inch or two lower than the actual vent connection base – this would have been nice… I find my phone is up a little too high – wish the top of my phone rested about where the connection point is – rather than the base being at that height. Since the holder doesn’t sink down when the phone is placed in it (it’s more of a phones weight makes the arms go up and close, rather than the bottom going down much, perhaps half an inch). With the phone up so high the vent is also blocked but it’s the field of view annoyance that bothers me. Again, this same holder on a two inch declining goose-neck type arm would be perfect – at least for me and for my car’s layout (VW) where the vents are quite high up on the center dash area…

Simple and perfect
Im not a fan of the suction holders and then came across this …no suctions, no bulky holder in the middle of the car window was my idea of a good phone holder. Its super easy to put together and does go in the air vent clip but you can adjust it to fit in the vent so i loved that for that extra security . Easily put your phone in and out and grips like a charm. I have an iphone 12 pro max so size doesnt matter and what i was worried about since the pro maxs are heavier and bigger but no complaints

Incredible, easy hold (once you figure it out)
The way this attaches to your vent fin is genius, and now that I have it all situated, it almost feels like it was factory installed. The installation is fiddly though, and you have to make sure everything is nice and tight and situated to get there. The arms grip a little too well, and it’s just a bit of a struggle trying to get the phone OUT of the holder. With the case I have, the thing can be upside down and it still holds on tight, which is almost annoying honestly. But I know it won’t ever accidentally fall out, and that’s what counts.

`Such a great holder
This is the first vent phone holder I have had. I like the ease of using it. It doesn’t block my vision being on the window. But the function of this one is fantastic! Using gravity to hold my phone in place, no more fiddling with buttons and such. Just lift and it is out. It doesn’t shake or move! I am very impressed!

This phone holder car mount is a game-changer! With its upgraded clip design, it ensures a secure hold on your phone, even on bumpy rides. Installing it on your automobile air vent is a breeze, and it keeps your phone within easy reach for hands-free use. The sturdy construction provides peace of mind, knowing your phone is safe and stable while driving. Say goodbye to worrying about your phone falling and hello to convenient and safe navigation on the road.Highly recommended!

Reliably holds phone, but release is too slow
I took this on a 2,300-mine road trip in a Ford Ranger on the gravel roads of Namibia. Consider it well-tested!The arms gripped the dual-layer case of my Google Pixel 6 Pro gently but firmly. Never once did my phone jiggle loose. The air vent hook was easy to install and worked great. I was able to tighten everything down the way I wanted it. One nice thing is that there was enough space between the vent and the back of the holder that it didn’t impede the airport. So why did I only give it three stars? One point against it was the arm length. My phone isn’t dainty, but it’s not that big, and there wasn’t that much room to spare. More importantly, though, is that it’s not easy to release the arms. The button is on the back and it’s awkward – you have to press the glass front of your phone to push the button. Worse, the arms slowly creep apart; a lot of times you have to help them open up while you’re already fumbling with the back button.I am thinking about buying a different phone holder that opens up more easily, but this one works well enough that I can get by just fine – I just wish I’d bought a different brand to begin with. The photos in this review are in my Toyota Highlander. You can see it fits well.

Works great, easy to store
It took me a few tries to get the ball part attached to the holder but otherwise, it was very straightforward. It attaches easily to the vent blade and unhooks just as quickly to be stowed in the glove box or elsewhere (because you never want to leave your car with anything in it to attract thieves…). I was concerned that my pop socket would interfere with the holder but it works just fine and still grips solidly.
