And the award goes to . . . It’s easiest to pick your size by clicking on the little blue ‘Size Chart’ link at the top. I ordered the ‘D Medium Blue’ without any rips (or D ‘Meidum’ Blue as they currently have it spelled). The size 12 fits me shockingly well. I expected some sort of issue somewhere as all jeans I’ve ordered up until now had something wrong about them (too long, hips too big, waist too small, uncomfortable denim, etc.) but these Sidefeel jeans are, dare I say, close to perfect for me. The waist is comfortable and not too tight, the hips aren’t huge, the legs aren’t too wide, the legs are a nice length for us relatively shorter women (I’m 5′ 5″) and the denim is soft and lightweight, like it’s already worn in a little. They have a little stretch to them and they’re comfy enough for my sensitive skin. I think these jeans were made for slightly straighter body shapes like mine. I don’t have much of an hourglass figure, so basic jeans are usually too small in the waist and/or too big in the hips for me. The only things I can find wrong are minor things, like the zipper doesn’t move as smoothly as other zippers I have and the button is one of those wobbly buttons. Despite the wobbliness, it still feels relatively durable and I don’t think it’ll be popping off very soon. Oh, and the smell. These pants had an unpleasant smell to them upon arrival, almost like stale sea water or something. It wasn’t the usual unpleasant factory-like smell. I had to toss them in the washer right after trying them on because it was a little hard for my nose to tolerate it. My nose is a bit sensitive to smells though. Other than those minor things, I love how these jeans fit and feel on me. I recommend these particular ‘D Medium Blue’ jeans but as far as the other jeans selections with the rips in them and/or the button-flies . . . I don’t know if they’re made of the same denim quality or what, so you might be taking a chance on them.
PERFECT I bought these jeans for my kids. They like trendy clothes, they wear jeans with holes in them, and I thought these are a shoe in. The jeans arrived yesterday, and surprisingly my girls werenât too interested. I think because itâs summer and theyâre thinking shorts and mini skirts rather than jeans. Big win for me! I cannot believe how amazing I look in these jeans. Now, Iâm not the type of person to compliment myself pretty much ever. Iâll be the first person to point out my wrinkles, jowls, saggy bat wing arms, and lumpy cellulite allll over. But these jeans make me look like a movie star. I donât know what kind of magic was sewn into the fabric, but theyâre comfy with just the right amount of stretch, they stay on all day⦠So theyâre stretchy, but they snap back where they need to, they arenât low rise, but they donât go up to my chest. Iâm telling you, these are perfect. I think the only people who might not love these jeans as much as I do are taller people. I say that only because I have a 30 inch inseam⦠a lot of my friends have a 32 or 33 inch inseam and these jeans would be a little bit too short for their liking. Some women prefer the ankle length look, and this would definitely work for that. These jeans are absolutely perfect on me and Iâm going to be looking at some of the other colors as soon as Iâm done writing this review.
Fits larger than size chart, and too short I really wanted to like these jeans, and I would if they fit properly, but they just don’t. I’m 5’3″ tall and 155lbs, and took my measurements multiple times so I could order according the to the provided size chart. My measurements put me on the upper end of a size 12, so that’s what I ordered and hoped they would fit. Unfortunately they are too loose and baggy through the booty and front area, and the crotch sags some. If I pull them up high enough to not sag in the crotch they are too short. The material is also very stretchy, so will stretch out and be even looser after a few hours of wear. I feel like I would have needed to size down at least one size, maybe even two sizes to get a proper fit, though I’m not sure if they would have been long enough even though I’m fairly short. On the positive side the manufacturing on these jeans looks great. The material is on the thinner side for jeans, but feels soft and comfortable. They have a good amount of stretch so I think they would be great for curvy body types if you can get the appropriate size. I ordered the “D Light Blue” style as I prefer a lightly worn look without holes. The whiskers and lighter coloring on the thighs looks good and not overly distressed. Overall I think these could be good jeans, but only if the company would provide an accurate sizing chart. Ordering clothing online is always difficult, so sizing charts with accurate measurements are a must. As much as I like the material and style of these jeans I won’t be ordering from this company because I feel like it would require ordering multiple sizes and doing returns to achieve a good fit.
5ft 4, Petite Friendly! I Moonwalked down the hallway! Oh my word itâs a size 4~~!! Itâs really difficult to find a size 4 in stores and in general jeans that Iâm not walking on because Iâm a petite. The hems are right at the top of my feet. Iâm 5â4â, Waist 26, Hip 36, and 107lbs. The elephant in the room needs to be addressedâyes the âlight blueâ is a little darker than in sellerâs pictures. These are super soft and stretchy with a feeling that a distant relative of it could have been a Jegging! Lol I usually wear size 5. Size 5 is too big around the waist but itâs the looseness that I like in the legs. Size 4; complete opposite; perfect around the waist so theyâre not falling down but tighter than my *personal* preference in the legs. Tighter around the legs is easier for me to deal with than having to hike them up constantly! They are not as heavy as my other jeans and they are not as cold when putting on. Iâm very, very happy with these jeans, I skipped and moonwalked down the hallway!!
