No more indoor recharging! I have a hummingbird feeder with an attached camera that is exactly like a typical security camera. I have been getting tired of pulling the camera out and recharging it, so I decided to try a Solar Panel. This particular panel puts out 2.4 watts, and under full sun, I got 6.4 volts; plenty of juice to keep the camera charged (most USB chargers output about 5+ volts). Once plugged in, the cameraâs charging light started glowing, so it appears to be working. The extra-long cable (over 13 feet) was appreciated and needed because of placement of the panel relative to the camera/feeder. It also comes with a barrel plug to USB-C adapter, so you should have no problem hooking up to any type of camera. Also included is a mounting bracket and screws. No more indoor recharging…I’m loving it!
No Just for Cameras! I have a pet water dish that does some filtering and makes a bit of a small fountain that runs on a usb connection. I made this into a solar-powered fountain using this Solar panel with the USB-C connector and it seems to be working great. I think I could attach a power bank (battery) made for a phone and get it to run into the evening. Anyway, these small solar panels are great for a variety of uses, not just cameras. The quality seems good on this panel and I expect it to hold up well over time.
Works seamlessly with my outdoor cam! I have a no-name solar outdoor camera; the connected solar panel stopped working a week ago. I got this as a replacement to start reliably charging the camera again. I set this panel up and connected it to the camera (USB-C connection). The weather was cloudy today with no direct sun. But within a few hours, my camera was fully charged. This is a great replacement that works seamlessly with my camera!UPDATE: a couple of weeks later, my camera is still working perfectly with this solar panel. I wanted to add to this review that getting this saved me the time and money of buying and replacing the HD camera! As the problem was really with the energy collected from the dying solar panel, I am so glad that this panel was available and worked! The third picture shows the 100% charge, just after a few hours. Now my camera works great! Very happy with the solar panel. I highly recommend this solar panel for any USB-C camera!
Works perfectly This solar panel works perfectly for my Ring Stick up Cam. I have an OEM solar panel too for another camera and this one is working just the same. It keeps my camera charged and no need to climb up and get batteries to charge.
Easy to Install Update:I have only used this a few times and the adaptor has quit working with my camera, which means it no longer charges. I am downgrading from five stars to one for this reason.————–This is very straight forward to install and use, which is great. The original cord has a barrel connector but it does come with a USB C adaptor, which is what I needed it for. I have a camera with an integrated solar panel which worked fine in the winter with no leaves blocking it…. and then I discovered that it doesn’t get enough sun once spring hits. So, being able to add this in as a supplementary panel and have it much further out from the camera is awesome.
Thank goodness for USB-C ; Did not use this on a ring system But it still worked great on my other brand-name cameras. It uses 6.5v USB-C interface which I was able to interface into. I mounted the panel on my roof and now I set it and forget it. It charges up my camera before it has a chance to die on me and cause me to bring out the ladder again.
Decent little solar panel I ordered this to add to my outdoor security camera. I charged up the batteries fully first before installing the solar panel. So far it seems to be keeping up and charging the batteries without any problems. I donât know how this will work on heavy rainy days, but Iâm not worried about that at this point.Installation is very easy and quick. Like many products of this type I use my own screws and hardware For an easier installation

It works!
Easy to use and install. Keep in mind, the panel needs direct sunlight to work unlike others that can use indirect sunlight.
