Great mandoline! Not so great when storing

Awesome slicer
This slicer has been a nice addition to my kitchen. It is easy to operate and makes slicing vegetables so much easier. Is has a solid variety of predetermined widths to choose from, and all you do is set the thickness and put the vegetable in the loading tray. It has a hand pump that is super easy to use, and my time spent chopping has been reduced dramatically. Cleaning it is easy and simple. I would highly recommend everyone having some kind of item similar to this.

Handier than I expected
I like to prep food. I enjoy the skill of cutting ingredients in order to make then the correct size for cooking. I have half a dozen high end knives for various cutting and prep chores. I am home over the cutting board. A mandolin is a uni-tasker and a waste of space… so I thought.Man, I don’t know why I never got one of these before. This gadget is a tine saver. Potatoes, onions, carrots, LEMONS!…this contraption blasts through them.It’s easy to use and set up, dishwasher safe, and I feel a great deal of thought was put into making sure it is as safety focused as possible.This might be my new favorite kitchen tool.

Worked well, some limitations on size
I wanted a safer mandoline to use to slice and dice vegetables. I was hoping to replace my mandoline completely, but I will have to keep it. The limitations of this mandoline are you can only slice what will fit in the hopper, meaning you can’t do long strips/ribbons like in a traditional mandoline. I do like how easy this was to use. I primarily used it this weekend for slicing potatoes. It was nice to get a consistent width which is what I often struggle with a traditional mandoline.

Works really well!
I’ve always been afraid of these after a co-worker sliced the tip of his finger using one.This one, the guard makes it nearly impossible to do that.The adjustable thickness is easy to use. 1mm to 8mm thick.Then fill the hopper and start slicing.For slicing carrots or similar, I suggest doing more than one at a timeCleans easy enough. Take it apart and put it in the dishwasher.I recommend this. With proper care, this should last many years.

A Mandoline is a staple tool in my kitchen. It makes food prep so easy and fast, so I was very happy to find a safer alternative to my original mandoline for smaller items. It’s easy to clean (top rack of dishwasher)

Everyday Kitchen Essential
Between salads and stir fry dinners, we use this mandoline slicer almost every night. It’s safe and easy to use, making meal prep much quicker. The thickness adjuster allows us to get the perfect slice every time. It’s definitely faster than using a kitchen knife and has become an essential tool in our kitchen.
