Perfect!!
We have hardwood floors and this is perfect for our homeschool station. Itâs easy for the chair to roll and it grips the floor so it donât move. The thickness is perfect and itâs durable. Itâs a good buy!!

It Sticks!
This rug sticks to the floor as advertised. It seems durable and well made but time will tell. I will update my review if need be but I think this rug is a safe bet.

Iâm very happy with it
iâve been using this chair mat for over a month now and am happy with my purchase. the chair roles easy on it and keeps it in place. i like the material and the look. you can see when it gets dirty as you see in the photo but itâs easy to clean so itâs not an issue.

I don’t think so.
Edit: I decided to use these in the garage as the felt will grab snow or driveway debris/dirt to a degree. They are still showing all the fold creases and look like garage floor mats. I went back to my older rugs and bought what I know can be thrown in the washer and still work beautifully. This was yet another ‘bargain’ lesson learned.Pros:Heavy weight carpeted felt – should grab outdoor stuff on shoes well (also use at doorways, not just under desk chair)Decent rubber-ish backing to hold in place on flooring.Cons:Gamebreaker for me is being shipped folded. They claim it will eventually flatten out, but so far I am not seeing the slightest bit of change on the creases. They saved on shipping costs, but would have been better off charging a bit more and rolling, not folding IMO.My current brand (Celion) can be thrown in the washer and dryer and are both well over a year old and have seen heavy use at doorways and under desk chair. Only now is desk chair mat wearing thin from rolling castors on chair. I only switched brands for more color options than Celion was offering, that was a mistake! This brand’s ad on Amazon does not state if these can be washed, but given the type of backing I am seeing, I have a low confidence in that as a safe option for my washer. I don’t want the $20 mat taking out the considerably-more-cost washing machine. 🙂 Really cleaning it seems to therefore only have the option of hosing it off outside – I’m in Chicago area and there is no way the one by the door can go an entire winter with no washing and vacuuming does not get it clean enough for me. Pity, because washing might have solved the creases issue, but it isn’t worth the gamble of damaging the washer.I would not recommend so long as it arrives folded, but if you don’t mind lumpy creases the rest of it seems decent.FYI: My current mats also arrived folded, but as they could be washed in the machine (and I do dry it on low) it completely removes all creases. Looks like they may be discontinuing them, which is a real pity. I’m getting an extra for the desk and doorway.

Disappointed-Donât hold up to heavy traffic/use
I was so hopeful for the stair carpets. They have a great design and looked nice at first, however they did not hold up at all. The designs wore off after only a month of use. They show every single speck of dirt or hair. After a year Iâm needing to replace due to them peeling up.I gave 2 stars because they did look nice at first. I suggest using these if you donât have a lot of traffic on your stairs

Perfect for all wood floor apartment
I got myself the solid black one, so didn’t rate on sheerness. As soon as I put it down the whole apartment became quieter. No longer is my chair GRINDING on the floors, and now I can prevent (further) damage to the floor from my chair. (really hate that the default wheels on these chairs damage every kind of floor >:C) It’s also really nice having something between my feet and the cold floor now! The mat is also way bigger than I expected it to be, so that’s a bonus!the only real complaint I have it the fact that the creases from being folded for packaging are staying for a while. but it doesn’t actually affect the effectiveness of the mat. I just gotta be careful not to trip on one side that wants to stick up due to where it was folded. But I’d rather have a creased mat than one that was rolled and doesn’t wanna lay flat no matter what!

Serves its purpose
The mat serves itâs purpose but it doesnât stick to the floor as I had hoped, it wrinkles up where the chair wheels roll over it.. it works at keeping me from sliding away from my desk which is what I got it for.
