I was pleasantly surprised when I did not have to take off my phone case to put it in the mount. Opens wide enough for my phone with the case on and it fits on the tripod. Holds phone snug. Just what I was looking for. Works great with my remote camera feature on my SmartWatch got to love it.

Size of phone issues
This item opens just barely wide enough to accept an iPhone 15 in an otter box cover. Itâs slightly cumbersome to place the phone in it, but it works great after I get the phone in it

Strong phone holder
I had jury-rigged a phone holder for my tripod that wasnât very strong. When my phone fell to the floor with my homemade holder, I decided to get one of these. Glad I did.

I am typing this review from my phone and have this beauty on the back! It has been great! Bought it to replace a broken Manfrotto holder of similar design, with my fingers crossed when I did! I am pleasantly impressed with its versatility, range of motion, build quality (light & sturdy aluminium) and many stable angles it offers.I tend to move around the house with my phone, having a lightweight metallic stand that works in some many angles is just useful. Plus, I enjoy taking photos using the timer function and this has really been helpful taking baby photos and lovely family stills.
